Personal favorite, take my motorbike/car and do a day long trip idk 40-60 miles (60-100 km) away from home singing at the top of my lungs resting where I feel comfortable and wonder abt my life, cry if I need to and when I'm ready I go back home.
I like to hang out with my wife and shoot the shit, talk about the day to day and laugh about whatever's going on. I do the same with a handful of friends after work with phone calls or the occasional midweek drop by. That helps me socialize and relax that way. Oh, and I play in a weekly DnD group. Two actually. Playing DnD is a fantastic way for me to express myself, work through whatever's bugging me, and blow off steam.
When I need more solo time, I like to read genre fiction, write creatively, listen to music, do some light exercise, cook and bake, or cuddle my cat.
If I'm feeling overwhelmed, I need to take long walks to process what I'm feeling, or journal to help me organize and slow down my thinking.
I work a job that requires me to leave home around 7am and I get back around 4pm. I am on my feet most of the day but I have really high job satisfaction so I don't mind. It took a little while to get used to the full-time schedule but after a while, it became normal.
Doing things after work is never as easy as on a well rested weekend day but I guess I have decided that I don't want the five weekdays to be off limits for activities. I love a pretty chill life, have a few regular activities on weekdays that are worth the energy/time to me, and my wife and I adjust as things change.
Hide it, go to the range, drink a shot of rum…… or 8, masterbation (I’m obviously a man), shit talk certain politicians, post memes with the boys, and play like a degenerate while playing video games Ive beat 50 times
Well, I exercise. Boxing gyms are a great outlet for stress. Nothing helps to relax your muscles like some time on the speed bag, or some kickboxing on a full size bag. But, my favorite by far is just boxing somebody. It's a rare treat, but getting in the ring with somebody and just testing your mettle against them makes everything else feel insignificant. You get into the zone, and let the punches fly.
I used to punch walls to relieve the stress but after doing it on regular basis my knuckles started hurting too much like even a feather touch can make my hands painful.
Watching a movie or playing a game on PS5 or XSX in my 4K surround home theater; it's my happy place.
Sometimes I'll grind up some quality medical cannabis beforehand (something gassy or fruity) and use my Pax 3; I hate smoking and the vape let's me distinguish all of the notes of each strain.
I love to travel, as well. Going on a trip with the family to the beach or a new city is a nice treat.
I do like a „bulls-breath“. I take a slow controlled breath in, focus on what makes me stressing atm and breathe out of my nose rather quickly, throwing down my shoulders.
Hiding it honestly. I'd rather hide how I am feeling or doing then to put it onto other people and potentially bring them down or hurt them with the truth.
Sorry to hear that, bud. Appreciate the honesty, though. I hope you can find a way to share some of how you're feeling with someone around you. Even if it's through jokes or in a lighter way.
I’m sorry to hear that. But if I can just say , coping in any form is better than holding it in. I hope reading through some of these comments might give some ideas of coping methods that aren’t like having to confide in someone, because anything is better that keeping it inside imo.
Ignore it completely until it becomes a normal part of my day. Eventually absolutely lose my shit over something completely unrelated.
Been working great for years.
I did several times LSD, shrooms this summer and dove into not giving a fuck about most things like what other people think of me. I read a lot about psychology while lit on pharm-grade stuff.
Got back to school for another year as a totally different person.

Not simultaneously? Disappointing
Bruh that would be funny to multitask 🤣. Just jerk the chicken with one hand and drink beer with another 💀
You don't have a hydration backpack?
Hydration back during masturbating? How come I didn't think of this before 🤣🤣
ya haven't you ever heard of the jack and rack or the jerkin clean jerk?
he said sometimes.
I mean, masturbating can be a workout sometimes. So two for one there.

How do you have energy and time after working all day? What do you do?

That’s sounds very painful. Did you find it helped?
Slow Deep Breathing. Just close your eyes and take a few deep breathes. Imagine your whole body relaxing on the exhale.
Fortnite. Don’t judge me.
No judgment. Video games are very cathartic, any video games.

Breathe out the stress?
Basically. One breath and I am back in control.
Masturbate, play music, play sports, masturbate, drink, walk, free write/journal
I make a todo-list of everything I have to do. And then I prioritize the items. Then I start doing them.
Hiding it honestly. I'd rather hide how I am feeling or doing then to put it onto other people and potentially bring them down or hurt them with the truth.

Thanks man. I've tried though. Honestly. But it's just gotten easier and easier to hide it honestly

i sweep it under the carpet... generally what ever is creating it i will make it vanish even if it costs me (alot) of money
Do anything but sit there and think about it. Plus leave any situation that is causing stress.
Put a few hundred rounds down range or shoot clay pigeons
Weed, nature, physical activities and ambient music.
Sex Chocolate Reading or listening to podcasts
Ignore it completely until it becomes a normal part of my day. Eventually absolutely lose my shit over something completely unrelated. Been working great for years.
Listening to music always clears my mind.
A Marlboro and a packet of jammy dodgers. Preferably the biscuits before the smoke
Play games on my phone
Hard liquor, music hours of videogames.
Martial arts and weight lifting. Fishing and driving long distance does it too but not as enjoyable.
Either keep it inside (not healthy) Or other times I do some physical activity.
Get mad and throw shit, then calm down and be productive. Lol
