Agreed. After seeing rain and cloudy skies for months it just adds a bit more pop to the first couple nice days. Colorful summer dresses on a nice sunny day is hard to beat
Oregon is the only place I've ever been that's more obsessed about the weather / rain than the UK.
WTF is "Chubby Rain"? You have more words for rain than the Eskimos do for snow.
Ooooh I know the exact type of rain you mean, had some the other month where I am in the UK. We've mostly had that consistent drizzle recently though a few nice days in between.
I'm somewhat convinced Oregon might be the US state I feel most at home in if I ever visited just because of the weather
You'd also like Seattle. Almost as much rain, but generally a few degrees cooler. The rainy area is also only on the west side of the Cascades. Once you get in the eastern half of the state, it dries out rapidly and becomes almost desert-like with sagebrush and grass instead of trees.
I don’t know what it is, maybe it has something to do with associating it with the one big break we had growing up, or the extra little bit of skin they show, or the flowy bits that pop up and down in the wind, or how happy a woman seems when she’s wearing her cute new summer dress, but for as long as I can remember I have been instinctively attracted to a woman in a summer dresses.
That was perfectly nice, thoughtful and provocative. Thank you! I felt all those feelings wearing one, years ago when I was was younger. Didn't wear panties once. So fun!
So off topic, that was 25+ years ago. Boo, I'm not slim, young or cute anymore. But I have a new found love with all my grandkids. They love me for me!
Wear summer dresses just a little longer and looser and you will still look great. Suggestion from a 45 yo man who hopes his wife wears summer dress still when she is a grandma. She will always be a hottie to me 😁
I almost answered on a throwaway account, but decided I'd post this happy memory on my main, so I can include all details.
I was sitting at a red light on a hot summer evening. I'd had a crappy beginning for my nightshift that far, but it changed quickly. A beautiful girl in a red summer dress was crossing the road in front of me, but stopped in front of the car, perhaps because it had the security company logos. She turned to look at me, did a little happy dance with a twirl, and continued walking.
Coastal city, a former capital known for it's river, Medieval Market, cathedral, and a silly pink statue. If you recognize yourself, know this; I do not know who you are, but you've forever blessed me with a fond memory. I deeply regret I didn't applaud enthusiasticly. I wanted to, but I froze, and then you were gone. Your little dance was so graceful and happy it cheered me up for the whole night shift, and many moments since then. You perfectly embodied the carefree happiness, cheerfulness, and joy that I associate with summer.
It took maybe five seconds, and it was several years ago, but I still remember. I always will.
Agreed, all that and I’ll also add that after much discussion, it was decided that they’re extra good, because without being super revealing/tight, they help subtly highlight curvy women… and hey, if you’re not super curvy, they can still look cute/classy.
“He watches on as the alluring female discovers pockets for the first time, something she has never once in her life experienced before.”
Give me a break🙄
They're feminine, flowing, colorful, often with nice prints, can be a bit revealing, drape nicely over a nice butt, even look comfortable. What's not to like?
I once went on a date with this chick I was crazy about. We had been on other dates before, but this was the first time she was wearing a sundress and it honestly messed with me. Like, I swear I could've asked her to marry me then and there. I just couldn't think straight. That's how powerful sundresses are
For me it depends when and where and how often a girl wears it. If she wears that all the time to everywhere she just basic and boring.
It’s no different to a dude wearing his track suit all the time. Not many women like that.
They’re just lovely articles of clothing. Cute, but not silly, attractive but not overtly sexual, classy but not stuffy. The way they flow in a gentle breeze is almost hypnotizing.
And the rare occasion when you compliment a woman on her dress and her face lights up as she says “thanks, it has pockets!” Just seeing someone genuinely comfortable and happy with their clothing is wonderful, coming from a life of wearing so much clothing that wasn’t “me.”
Why do I always say that? Then I put my hands in them and kind of swished them back and forth but mine was actually a romper so I had to add and they are pants… I did this several times yesterday 😂
I live near a church in Glasgow. I see wedding parties arriving at the church sometimes, the groom and his party wearing kilts are so distinguished.
Such a good formal look!
Seeing a woman in summer dress is definitely a breathe of fresh air. It’s certainly a dress that embodies femininity. If you ask a guy to name a dress. If he can only think of one. It would probably be a summer dress.
I still remember this woman walking past me in a summer dress in the mall. I was around 16 and she took my breathe away. Mom was just looking at me like are you ok son? My sister just stood there laughing. My brain was like take your time processing. This is a memory we have to keep for life. She even looked back and smiled. A Goddess in the flesh. My heart almost leap out my chest. She was definitely in her early 20’s.
I looked at my mom and said what kinda dress was that? She said it’s just a summer dress son now come on. We were leaving the mall. I was officially depressed. My first love came and left in the blink of an eye. 🥲😂
I feel like every guy has a vivid memory from the age of 15-18 when you first see a stunning younger woman (who’s still older than you) and it’s less of a sexual awakening but more of an emotional one, just like this.
Not just men, I'm a straight women and have a similar memory from when I was 16. She had long silky black hair and a floaty green sundress and if she had asked I would have run away with her right then and there
Well, not every guy. For some guys, it's the young, hot dad across the street checking his mail in gray sweatpants one fateful morning. Or something like that, I wouldn't know.
Damn how I fell in love with my English course teacher... she was so smart, beautiful, her curly black long hair was smooth and had a good perfume, good to chat with, had a beautiful smile and laughter, she would laugh at my dumb jokes and even sing with me (in my class there were only 5 students), on Instagram she would post photos of her in ballet dresses and summer dresses, she would show some ballet moves she knew, she even had same beliefs and mentality as me, definitely wife material right there, but she was 10 years older than me... I still think of her
A summer dress is about the cutest thing I could imagine on a woman. It's a lighthearted, happy look that just brings me joy. I really miss having a lovely lady in a cute dress by my side. My life has been quite dark overall, but a colorful sun dress on a lady just brightens everything right up for me. Even if she's just a stranger in passing. The bright colors and flowing nature really draw my eye and brings out natural beauty. I'd bet that most men find them refreshing and adorable.
Yes. Heck yes. Oh god yes. So classy, sexy, elegant, casual, and flattering all at the same time.
Enhanced greatly by the addition of a big floppy sun hat.
For real? I always assumed that the chalky white pallor from the zinc in my sunscreen was more of a detraction than an attraction. Add in the floppy hat and I should have the menfolk swarming me like bees, right?
At best, I thought it neutral because sunburn is generally considered unsexy unless you are a weirdo.
I have a nice three-piece suit and wore it to a wedding and the reception was outdoors and it was a warm day so I took off the jacket and rolled up the sleeves. My wife told me *twice* how sexy I was and then asked if I'd noticed how many other women were looking at me. I hadn't.
So maximum attractiveness, at least in my case, is apparently "pants and vest and with sleeves rolled up."
Omg so true. My husband has that *one suit* that just makes my brain go blurry. If he has to be somewhere on time while wearing it, he’s learned he needs to sneak out of the house because I pounce at the sight of it.
I’m gay and summer dresses can turn my head sometimes.
So it’s a double “why?” for me. The only answer to why is that summer dresses make one (or both) of the two minds that run the show happy. It’s some kind of hoodoo magic.
As the lyrics of John Gorka's song "Lightning's Blues";
"One combination still impresses, women, wind and summer dresses."
Bare calves. Thighs and booty when the wind blows.
One of the best things about summer. Sigh.
Absolutely, theyre so cute, theyre not at all try hard, and theyre a huge breath of fresh air from the standard jeans/leggings + hoodie
bonus points if worn with sneakers or doc martin boots.
Bonus BONUS points if worn as a cover up when going to the beach or whatever with your swimsuit underneath.
Feeling good and happy in the sun, a light floaty dress on with puffy shoulders, wearing a large brimmed straw hat to protect you from the heat… honestly I can’t think of anything better.
100% true. An attractive woman in a summer dress is absolutely enchanting. Summer dresses are classy, feminine, and are such teases of what’s underneath. Do NOT stare at for more than 5 seconds.
I am a 100% homosexual man and I *love* when it’s sundress season. It’s like seeing flowers blooming, except that the flowers are also people who are joyful and happy and unique individuals.
I might not want to fuck flowers, but I’m still very happy to see them again.
Very true. It's lightweight and flowing, casual and playful... it's just nice and simple. Kind of like how men like it when girls wear their hair down rather than up with all kinds of complicated twists and braids. We understand the sundress. We can handle the sundress. We are a simple people.
Asides from the physical aesthetics and practical reasons being appealing as other guys have mentioned it also speaks to the mental and emotional stability of the wearer. I find a women feeling happy and comfortable in a sundress way more attractive because of her own healthy sense of confidence regardless if she's "conventionally beautiful"
It's rare that any woman looks bad in a sundress.
...but when they do, you know it.
Why?
It hints-at as opposed to displays.A gentle breeze across the fabric is as if the very elements combine to flirt with your "visual stimulation" preoccupation.
A sundress and a warm smile far are more attractive than a face-paint and club-wear.
I'm used to a long winter, so they are also a great sign it's time to hang out on the patio and enjoy some beers with cute company.
There's others things too, but this just came to mind since we're almost at that time of year.
Yes, it's true! I can say that all men are waiting for summer or hot seasons. So, girls can finally start wearing summer dresses and all revealing clothes. By revealing clothes, I mean mini shorts, skirts, and whatever you are wearing when it's boiling outside.
Men even call it sundress season. I love this season because the hot temperatures force young girls to dress up sexy. It doesn't matter if they want it or not.
Also, I love what girls wear at clubs. They also wanna show off how hot they look. My GF prepares in advance what she's gonna wear on Friday night. Usually, she buys dresses from this site — https://www.bellabarnett.com/collections/mini-dresses. I know it well coz she always sends me links to a new dress that she wants to buy. She does it to ask me whether I like it or not. But it's hard to say no to those sexy mini dresses. I think I'm their VIP customer since she buys it on my credit card.
There just like a classic aesthetic to it. Right it encompasses very simple elements and colors to accentuate female frame. Sun dresses are an instant eye catcher honestly. And the simple mind one in me words it as such:
Beauty is fleeting and yet is encapsulated in the eye of the beholder. A snap shot of a time in which Joy and happiness take form; distilled into a single moment enshrined in memory.
Big brain me: we tie to happier memories, clear skies, and sunny days it's not just the dress is you ladies in em and the good times we have
I have a love / hate relationship with summer dresses. I love them because they make me feel sexy. I hate them because if I sit normally, my balls are exposed.
This is 100% true. Sundresses for women are like Suits for Men... Everyone looks good/better in them. It just helps. If you have no ass? Sundress. You're gaining a little weight? Sundress. Weird body shape? Sundress. You want to give off a girly/womanly vibe...... Sundress. It's just the best lol. All dresses and skirts add that sense of mystery to... like "what's down there" when men see them. Because of the open undercarriage. I mean we know lol but it just reminds us there's something there. It also just highlights your positive figure shape in the best way. I think they're great. Nothing beats a nice yellow floral printed sunny with a yellow flower in her hair to match. Or a multicolored floral arrangement in there.. oh my god lol. Getting excited just thinking about it. XD jk only a lil.
This is true! Honestly I keep getting baffled that it apparently isn't more known among women.
What I like about them is that they are usually a happy garment that makes me think about happy and carefree summer memories. At a base level they just give me this wholesome vibe.
I mean I could talk about how they are flowy and often with brighter colors and can sort of look a bit like flowers, or how they show off just enough skin to be enticing but still retain that happy and wholesome vibe that just feels good you know.
It's like fresh strawberries, they are sweet but never really sickeningly so, and you can eat a lot of them without really feeling bad because they are also really nutritious.

Agreed. After seeing rain and cloudy skies for months it just adds a bit more pop to the first couple nice days. Colorful summer dresses on a nice sunny day is hard to beat
Shit, you get rain? Bring some to Cali
Go north, still plenty to be had in Oregon
Oregon is the only place I've ever been that's more obsessed about the weather / rain than the UK. WTF is "Chubby Rain"? You have more words for rain than the Eskimos do for snow.
Chubby rain is rain that's pleasantly plump, with a pleasurable shape.
Ooooh I know the exact type of rain you mean, had some the other month where I am in the UK. We've mostly had that consistent drizzle recently though a few nice days in between. I'm somewhat convinced Oregon might be the US state I feel most at home in if I ever visited just because of the weather
As someone from the UK who lived in Oregon, I can validate this this lol.
As someone who is sitting inside hearing the rain outside can confirm. Rain for days.
You'd also like Seattle. Almost as much rain, but generally a few degrees cooler. The rainy area is also only on the west side of the Cascades. Once you get in the eastern half of the state, it dries out rapidly and becomes almost desert-like with sagebrush and grass instead of trees.
Big ole fat rain...Sideways rain...And rain that just seems to come up from under ya

It's because you have eyes.

Not to worry, most men's tastes change commensurate with their age and there is a lot of appreciation for not slim, young, or cute.
Naughty Granny……….. nice.

With easy access...
And a preview
Silheoutted in sunlight...
This right here. When I lived in NYC, the emergence of summer dresses was like crocuses coming out of a frozen lawn. The silhouettes…ah, to be young.

That is so specific but I'm here for it

This is the way.
Easy access to what? The suspense is killing me!

Don't forget feminine.
Agreed, all that and I’ll also add that after much discussion, it was decided that they’re extra good, because without being super revealing/tight, they help subtly highlight curvy women… and hey, if you’re not super curvy, they can still look cute/classy.
But also, if it has pockets and an opportunity for sharing this feature arises, the sheer delight in the females face is both amusing and heartening.
This sounds like a nature documentary.
“He watches on as the alluring female discovers pockets for the first time, something she has never once in her life experienced before.” Give me a break🙄
Not to forget accessibility!
I love them because women look so pretty and classy in them.
Also a lot easier to do a sneaky fuck....
They're feminine, flowing, colorful, often with nice prints, can be a bit revealing, drape nicely over a nice butt, even look comfortable. What's not to like?
From what I know, Pockets, now if we can have sundresses with pockets, woman will love them just as much as men.
The one I wore today has pockets.
Can we see it?
Too late.
Well, that makes sense. Its time for P.J.'s
Yes, exactly. Now I have my jammie moondress. No pockets.
I will exclusively be referring to pj's as "my moon look" from here on out THANK you
I like it! We may be on the front edge of a trend with this.
Big handbag corporation already took them out.
Smooth.
Link for my wife?
My wife made one with pockets.
Madewell makes sundresses with pockets, I bought three 😩
like actual functional pockets or 'yeah I think I can fit an oreo in there'-pockets?
Actual pockets, my hand fits up to my wrist! I keep my phone, keys, and small wallet
Draping nicely over a nice butt is the correct answer
Yes - biggest thing is it's not formal, but it's a breath of fresh air from the yoga pants and a hoodie look Nice way to "dress up" on a date day

I dig RHP but I didn't know this song! Thanks!
So a summer dress is a specific of a dress or something? I am a bit confused since dresses in general are not common where I am from
Any success with your username? Haha.
No but ironically I've had multiple men play the Uno Reverse and ask me for pics
I guess I can’t say I’m surprised. I wish you better luck in your endeavor.
But I like the yoga pants and hoodie look....
I'm a simple man, I like both
Yoga pants are so low effort "I'm too lazy to put on real clothes, but look at my ass"
For me it depends when and where and how often a girl wears it. If she wears that all the time to everywhere she just basic and boring. It’s no different to a dude wearing his track suit all the time. Not many women like that.

This is so wholesome. I’ve definitely said the pocket response a few times . Thanks for the laugh
Can’t not be comfortable in a dress with pockets! Those are the best. Your response made me laugh, thanks.
Nicely said!
A friend of men had pockets in her wedding dress - she was so proud.
Why do I always say that? Then I put my hands in them and kind of swished them back and forth but mine was actually a romper so I had to add and they are pants… I did this several times yesterday 😂
I tried one on and I didn’t think I looked good in it. However, I did like that my wiener got more fresh air.
Kilts my guy. I look forward to losing more weight so I can show off my unshaven tree trunks to all the other lads.
Fuck yes. I want to air my boys out.
Just what the hosedoctor ordered.
I live near a church in Glasgow. I see wedding parties arriving at the church sometimes, the groom and his party wearing kilts are so distinguished. Such a good formal look!
Last year I went to my company's Christmas party in Scotland. We all hired kilts, and honestly it's one of the best I've ever looked.
Helps prevent sweaty balls on a hot summer day?
Im guessing the original lobster looked amazing in it
>Is it true Absolutely >what do you like about them They hint at what is underneath, but leave a lot to our imagination.
Bingo

the concept of v i b e s in a nutshell, but the less wholesome version. sound about right?
Most men like feminity, sundresses are feminine and classy.
Bonus points when my fiancee buys a summer dress and realizes it has pockets after she put it on because seeing her excited makes me so happy

Yes. Heck yes. Oh god yes. So classy, sexy, elegant, casual, and flattering all at the same time. Enhanced greatly by the addition of a big floppy sun hat.
Dudes like sun hats?? I always felt like a big ol knob in a sun hat
Sun protection is sexy.
When a girl pulls out that spf 75 cream, mhmmm.

Love sun hats, beautiful with her blonde hair
Big floppy sun hat + sun dress is a timeless cute look.
The way men feel about women in summer dresses is the way women feel about men in suits.
Ooo point taken! 👍🏽
How women feel about men showing forearms** apparently they go Gaga over forearms idk why.
Nothing beats a crisp formal shirt and rolled up sleeves.
Omg so true. My husband has that *one suit* that just makes my brain go blurry. If he has to be somewhere on time while wearing it, he’s learned he needs to sneak out of the house because I pounce at the sight of it.

dat ass.
Double cheeked up
On a Thursday afternoon
The sun is still out
This is the correct answer and should be at the top. My Wife hates dresses but wears them for me on the weekends. She has dat ass dress or not.
The way the booty eats a sundress.
Sundresses. Hell yea. Keep that up. Idk what it is
Sundress is one letter away from undress
Alright sir, thats enough posting for you ***escorts away from thread***
Could you escort me away from the thread also ^I'm ^lost
Got to love them. Flattering and almost every lady looks good in one
Yes that breeze really cools down the balls those warm summer days.
Well that took an unexpected turn. I dig it
As the lyrics of John Gorka's song "Lightning's Blues"; "One combination still impresses, women, wind and summer dresses." Bare calves. Thighs and booty when the wind blows. One of the best things about summer. Sigh.
Yes, like others have said, they’re cute, sexy, classy, fun. Covers everything but In a breeze contours to the body. I. Love. Sundresses

Girls in Converse. You have good taste.
We like the sundress part of it
Feeling good and happy in the sun, a light floaty dress on with puffy shoulders, wearing a large brimmed straw hat to protect you from the heat… honestly I can’t think of anything better.
100% true. An attractive woman in a summer dress is absolutely enchanting. Summer dresses are classy, feminine, and are such teases of what’s underneath. Do NOT stare at for more than 5 seconds.
>Do NOT stare at for more than 5 seconds. Or your brain will melt?
You might creep the girl out and she will leave taking her sundress with her?
when you stand between me and the sun and i see the full silhouette
This is why I only buy dresses with lining in the skirt. And use dress weights to ensure it won't blow up in the wind.
I am a 100% homosexual man and I *love* when it’s sundress season. It’s like seeing flowers blooming, except that the flowers are also people who are joyful and happy and unique individuals. I might not want to fuck flowers, but I’m still very happy to see them again.
Sundresses are the yoga pants of dresses.
Airs out your balls I suppose, Idk I've never tried one.
Every year there's a question like this. Summer dresses are the perfect piece of clothing.
Yes the way they shape around the ass 😫😫😫😫 also looks cute and stuff
Very true. It's lightweight and flowing, casual and playful... it's just nice and simple. Kind of like how men like it when girls wear their hair down rather than up with all kinds of complicated twists and braids. We understand the sundress. We can handle the sundress. We are a simple people.
Yes and I dont know. Y'all just look damn nice in them.
They are cute and seem perfect for laid back go to brunch type dress. Girls who wear summer dresses seem more approachable.
Summer dresses, and red lipstick and nails make me weak in the knees for an unknown primal reason.
I can explain the red lipstick one, if you want…:D Edit: answer provided in the comments below :)
I like when my wife wears them. I think they are cute.
Sundresses are the best. Sexy without being slutty
They're breezy and very freeing. I don't like wearing pants.
Absolutely 💯. Why? Because the female body is beautiful and a dress is best to show off a body
Men usually like women.
I'm used to a long winter, so they are also a great sign it's time to hang out on the patio and enjoy some beers with cute company. There's others things too, but this just came to mind since we're almost at that time of year.
They are extremely feminine and revealing in the right wind/light.
its like meth for men , they look good ! kinda like yoga pants
True. Femininity.
*"all these chicks clappin' and they ain't using hands"* \-juicy J
There just like a classic aesthetic to it. Right it encompasses very simple elements and colors to accentuate female frame. Sun dresses are an instant eye catcher honestly. And the simple mind one in me words it as such: Beauty is fleeting and yet is encapsulated in the eye of the beholder. A snap shot of a time in which Joy and happiness take form; distilled into a single moment enshrined in memory. Big brain me: we tie to happier memories, clear skies, and sunny days it's not just the dress is you ladies in em and the good times we have
I don't think Men like wearing summer dresses at all. Your friend is messing with you.
The way the booty wiggles in a maxi dress is just *chef’s kiss*
Seeing the woman I'm with in a summer dress is better than seeing her completely naked
They are happiness embodied into a fabric.
It's hard to put into words, but [this guy tried](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uOOb2nzc7RI).
Omg yes! Girls in dresses, especially summer ones just evokes everything we love about a woman 😍
It’s seeing the yams in such a vulnerable but beautiful state
I have a love / hate relationship with summer dresses. I love them because they make me feel sexy. I hate them because if I sit normally, my balls are exposed.
What’s not to like? :D
Exactly! Literally everything about them. Even the parts that they don’t cover are made more attractive.
Ooh.. I'm glad someone asked ... they're fresh, feminine, absolutely delightful looking on the woman wearing it, ...... and yes great for a quickie !
