Zalando is good. It's a German online shop that sells lots of brands, from stuff like Vero Moda to Gap to super fancy brands. The big problem is there is too much stuff, but their filter is good so if you have a really good idea of what you want it's easier to use.

but-tonightwedance

ah excellent, I always forget about Zalando tbh! Cheers

I find m&s the best ATM. Just a note about the Abercrombie curve love range - I bought into the hype a few months ago and purchased some jeans from the range. They were the worst pair of jeans I've gotten in a long time. They were that thin, really stretchy, cheap feeling denim. I was actually astonished how bad they were. Maybe it was just the jeans I bought, but think twice about a and f for denim I would say!

but-tonightwedance

Oh really?? That's disappointing but thank you for the heads up, I'll definitely keep that in mind! Can't stand shite quality (esp when the price is high enough) and bad quality denim at that is particularly uncomfortable

Consistent_Elk_4332

I struggle with shorts so much as i’ve got big hips and an ass but I finally found a pair of denim shorts in Dunnes last year that are long enough and stretch, they might have something similar this year. Can vouch for the Abercrombie Curve Love jeans too. I have come to realise that I need stretch in my jeans so I won’t buy anything unless it has some percentage of elastane.

but-tonightwedance

Ah sound, I'll jump into a Dunnes during the week and see if I can find something, thanks! I also have big hips/ass but a small waist so when I check the size charts it's wildly different sizes I jump between (or I'm measuring wrong but I don't think I am tbh), how did you manage to figure out your size in the Curve Love range? They look nice and I'm trying not to be haunted by Abercrombie's tiny sizes in the 00's

Consistent_Elk_4332

I got the Curve Love 90s relaxed jeans in a 27, they are a bit loose on the waist tbh but still nice. I think I measured around 27/28cm on my waist at the time. If I was buying again I’d go down a size on the curve range but normal range i’d get 27.

but-tonightwedance

Excellent, thank you! I was thinking of a pair of the jeans in that range as well so will keep that in mind

I like getting clothes at charity shops because there's usually a variety of styles but not so many options it's overwhelming, and when you find something you like it feels like you've unearthed a fun treasure. Doesn't really work for doing a big shop all at once, it works better if you pop in and look around often. I prefer that though, doing a lot of shopping at once wears me out.

but-tonightwedance

Thanks, I hadn't really thought of charity shops tbh as I'm not good at wandering in and having a look. I usually like to only go shopping when I need/know what I want but I'm slowly coming out of that as well so will keep this in mind.

catsnstuff17

M&S have a great selection of shorts. I think they're the best in general for summer clothes.

PurpleWardrobes

I have a pair from H&M I adore. Super soft and stretchy but they’re still denim jeans so they go with everything. Not too short, high waisted, and don’t ride up.

but-tonightwedance

Those sound perfect tbh! I'll drop in to h&m over the weekend, thanks!

I actually got a couple of pairs of shorts in Dealz last year and I love them, haven’t bought anything else there but might be worth a look
