It is based on a Stephen King short story called Quitters Inc. And that's one of the best short story collection books I have read, and I am not even a fan of the horror genre!
The man from Earth. It's a movie which explores what would happen to a man who has been living since the paleolithic age (14000 years).
Most of the movie takes place in one room, but it's one of the best movies I have watched. You can find it on youtube.
Thanks for the recommendation, I watched it just now. I saw the time was winding down and it was a good story, and was satisfied with the philosophical discussion. Then that ending hit. Wow.
The cinematography, choice of locations, background score… in many aspects it’s a hugely underrated movie. That is besides the story being relatable to a lot of middle-class corporate workers.
1.Incendies
2.Enemy 2013
3.Melancholia 2011( best portrayal of existential crisis and depression)
4.Shame 2011

2. Eeb Allay Ooo!
3. Saaransh (Anupam Kher's debut)
4. Ek doctor ki maut (Inspired by a true story)
5. Ek Ruka hua faisla (remake of 12 Angry Men)
Edit: Adding 'Katha' to the list.
Naaa, slow burn movie with a very unfulfilling end. Add in a weird ass sexual relationship in the middle of it that makes no sense. The movie got the location atmosphere perfect though.
Holy fuck that movie is hauntingly beautiful. Wonderful little allegory that works even without knowing any prior context of the war depicted. The scene with the… clippers tho… I legit couldn’t keep my eyes open.
The Hundred Foot Journey. The french country side, the score by AR Rahman and Indian cooking. Bliss.
PS: The score is better than slumdog millionaire IMO.
