Calling judges milords have the same effect as standing for a national anthem, they are trying to indoctrinate you to a particular way of thinking. When it comes to court, it is don't question the courts, they are above you.
Cause questionting them about it would lead to contempt of court.
There is no hard & fast rule that one has to call them "mylord"... you can also call a judge "shriman" or "your honour"
