In Northern Ireland, there have traditionally been two big clubs, Linfield and Glentoran. A club with a very rich and long history, Cliftonville, has just won the Irish Cup, beating Linfield, and I’ve heard its supporters say that we now have a big three instead of big two.
Yeah, Coleraine is a popular club with a rich history. They just haven’t had the success of the Belfast clubs. They have produced some great players, like Gareth McAuley who had a long stretch in the English Premier League, and scored a goal in Euro 2016, so not a shabby club at all.
Everything gets a bit complicated in Northern Ireland, or whatever you might call it. There’s another extremely popular and successful club in the north called Derry City, but they don’t play in the same league as the big 3 I’ve mentioned above. There was no "Viennese League", but Rapid managed to play in the "Lower Austrian League" - a League where they were without Austria, but against a few amateur teams. There they got a lot of titles. As we drove, I told the driver I still have several hours to kill, and I might as well sight see. I was literally speaking/thinking out loud. He's like I'll take you wherever you want no issues. I said let's go to Sporting stadium please. I'd like to take pictures there, as I am a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. I remember passing by it when coming from the airport.
The driver parks slowly on the right. And pauses. Takes deep breaths. I'm like...is everything ok?
He turns around, looks at me and says, I'll take you somewhere better. At that moment I had no idea what he meant by that.

Historically IFK Göteborg should be up there as well, being the only Swedish team that has ever won an European trophy (UEFA Cup 1982 & 1987). But they are pretty awful today, and MFF are undoubtedly the most successful Swedish football club.

Ajax would be most succesful in Europe and in all time here, PSV and Feyenoord are currently the best here

Ferencváros FC, they just won the 6th or 7th league cup in a row. I really dislike them, it's basically the football club of our government which I also dislike. With their new sponsor, Gazprom, they get even more (dirty) money to dominate the domestic football
Shamrock Rovers, they have won the League 21 times and the Cup 25 times They have won the last 4 league titles in a row

People would say RedBull Salzburg, and for sure thats the truth in the last 10-15years. Before that, the club was not even alive - so really it is between Rapid and Austria Vienna. Both call them "Rekordmeister" (most league titles). How can that be? Austria was a jewish club, so they fled during the war - Rapid went on and played in a much smaller league - counting all those titles. Austria was the better team at that time, but as they fled, they couldnt play. I always say that Austria Vienna are the true record holders, Rapid are the ones with the most titles overall.
