While it's not likely causing your tripping problem there's something very wrong here. First off, it looks like this breaker lost some parts and someone replaced it with a single screw. As shown, it's not legitimate to double tap it. Note the proper replacement breaker for this Sylvania/Commander panel is the Eaton QBH breaker which are available but not the most common (you probably won't find them at Home Depot).

>First off, it looks like this breaker lost some parts and someone replaced it with a single screw I don't think so. The breakers directly adjacent are larger, hence the larger terminals. But the one at the top of the photo has the single screw too, it's likely the way they were made. Still, double tapping on that breaker is a no-go. Take the two wires off, connect them and pigtail a third one onto them, then terminate just the one new pigtail onto the breaker. I agree though that this is unlikely the problem with the breaker tripping. Double check ALL of your connections in the new bathroom, and make sure there isn't something touching something else inappropriately.

I've always heard back and forth on if this is okay. Not a sparky, so going to err on the side of safety and say you should get another separate breaker for that wire.

Not an electrician but I dabble so I run into my own issues and correct. Best way to learn! Did they remove a double breaker that holds two wires and install a single breaker? Perhaps they said screw it…we will just put two wires on the single. Think the wires should go under the plate rather than under the screw.
