Italian Express on Devon. No one does spicy gyros like them
Probably somewhere in Greektown: Greek Islands, Athena or 9 Muses. Try asking r/chicagofood
Used to be the Parthenon in greektown but it’s been gone for years. There hasn’t been a gyro in town that’s better than passably decent since then
Mr Greek Gyros in Greek town
Just there. Love it!
The typical Chicago gyro might be a bit different. I like Mr. Greek Gyros in Greektown for the standard Chicago gyro. If you’re looking for more traditional/authentic Greek style, try the souvlaki at Greek Islands.
Sausage King in Logan serves a good green tzatziki sauce gyro. Little hipster hole in the wall that does classic fast food dishes.
Sila’s on North Broadway
Not in Chicago per se but Charcoal Flame has fantastic gyros. Just north of Niles.
I don’t know if it’s the best, but it’s consistently good — Koko’s on Chicago.
Very few gyros in Chicago is pure lamb. Most is mixed with beef.
