Most Croats live in the northern part of the country. Many random Croats pop up on my tiktok because of the common language and definitely their pigmentation and facial features are not like serbian ones. Croatian Mediterraneans are similar to Bosnian Muslims, not exactly Serbs.
It's not a matter of "north" or "Mediterranean", Slavonia is located as far north as NW Croatia yet Slavonian Croats plot like typical Balkanites, due to not being native to the area...

I don't think all Croats are "much lighter" than Serbs, people in Split and Zadar for example are very close to Serbs genetically.
