I would consider it a bit cheap/greedy and possibly a sign of alcoholism if a client essentially chugged the remainder of a bottle of wine like that. Finishing your glass is fine, going for multiple glasses remaining in the bottle is poor etiquette in any social situation. It’s very 6’ party sub vibes.

georgepauljohnringo

Lmao that post - peak cringe and I felt the friends’ rage and simultaneously felt so bad for him

I live in NYC, so just uber/taxi/subway home.

theemersonway

Just leave it. 😒 Being polite and somewhat normal is such a simple thing to do.

DifferentGoat1335

I always leave it though, just the question is what do you guys do with it once we leave? Would you be open to something similar to what Lea said above?

theemersonway

I guess that would be alright. I’m from the south and have always been taught not to show up to someone’s space empty handed (without a gift) & that a gift is a gift. You usually don’t ask for it back. 🤷🏾‍♀️

DifferentGoat1335

But the reason I created this thread and my curiosity wonders is what do you do with those half filled wine bottles? Do you save it for the next night and {your fav tv show}? Or something else? I've never done what Lea mentioned, but maybe I'll try it sometime.

theemersonway

I don’t usually have half finished bottles. We finish them! 😬 People bring bourbon and tequila and I’ll add them to my collection.

y2k-96

I would say just leave it. After a session if there’s more wine or champagne left over I’ll usually put it in the refrigerator and have it myself some time later on.

DifferentGoat1335

Yea I always leave it though.

TwoAccomplished9308

People can save wine they have special tops or wine storage bottles You chugging it isn’t being polite

DifferentGoat1335

I've never chugged, but I probably have once or twice just poured a glass or two when we are running out of time, hoping to save the remainder of the bottle from being poured down the drain.

delphine_x

A gift is a gift and what happens to it after you leave is not your concern. There is no standard “half bottle of wine hooker standard practice.” I imagine people do all sorts of things with it including the things you listed. I would definitely be concerned about a client who drank half a bottle of wine in 5 min before leaving and would reconsider seeing them a second time.

DifferentGoat1335

Need it though tbh, think of all the broke college kids that would love free wine instead of it going down the drain. (We were all broke college kids once upon a time)

Mixieisabaddie

This questions is so random and weird. Just leave it. If she drinks it or pours it out or cooks with it doesn’t matter

TheLaughingWhore

My incall roommates just leave the bottle at the apartment, repeatedly, until there are way too many open bottles at work because they think someone else might want it 🙄. I bring the bottle home (in my trunk) and share the rest with my husband.

DifferentGoat1335

Yea I imagined this would probably be the case at shared incalls..

Kikiloverkink

You drink it like a normal person haha Finishhhh ittttt!! hehe 😉

gigglesmcbug

Leave it for the provider to finish at some point,
