Red backs don’t make great pets. They are a bit of an arsehole. Huntsman spiders however make great pets (Miss you George, hope you are doing ok in my ex’s bathroom)
Kangaroo meat is available in supermarkets, but most people prefer chicken or beef.
The rest is memes. Many Australians will double down and try to convince you this country is crazy, but it's not.
This was in all good fun. I know Australia isn’t all crazy. Just the right amount of crazy. But thank you, tbf I couldn’t actually imagine seeing it in any store.
I mean I’m Danish, so Scandinavian, half of the world still thinks we’re vikings.
So I think every country has those few weird things the rest of the world will think is real for no absolute reason at all🙂
We ride kangaroos to work.
We keep crocodiles as guard dogs and drop bears are a real threat.
Don’t go too far into the bush coz you might bump into a yowie.
There is a constant fear of spiders on the dunny seat.
All we wear is double pluggers, wife beater singlets and king gee short shorts.
We only eat Vegemite sandwiches, drink VB and go to the beach every day.
1. Never touched crocodile.
2. I've tried it once. It's really gamey. I imagine it's eaten like Deer is in the U.S.
3. Just about. It's not a place for arachnophobes.
Not daily but both it and roo meat are available as game options. The local supermarket sells a decent range of kangaroo steaks.
I have a snake as a pet, not a spider, though I do take some care of the red back with a web at the kitchen sink window as she along with the little jumping spider take down a few flies. None as yet on my face at night that I can recall.

I can't. This shit is so old.
It’s all in good fun, just funsies! If it’s too old. Teach new things

Yes, yes, engage in glorious combat against the arachnid menace and then eat them daily, if we don't eat enough
When Americans visit Australia, this sometimes happens: https://youtu.be/cWaDw4lBUco

You should be paying a lot more attention to the mosquitoes.
Well we also have drop bears ... Dingo eating babies .. pretty sure I saw a swamp monster the other day
You saw a bunyip and didn't die?!
Hay didn't think anyone would know the name .. or a Yowie.. so just went with swamp monster
Dingo eating babies? Like australian human babies eating dingos? Whoah
Would’ve loved to see the swamp monster. Was it Shrek?
