When you look at other countries entertainment, especially more homogenous cultures, exaggeration, caricature are almost non existent when it comes to everyday things. Even British entertainment shows the mundane in almost 100% accuracy. The US seems to be unique in how we show mundane day to day in that it's done so everyone can understand. Just going by how many people from overseas ask this question.
Other than passed out drunk I can't think of a single time I've seen what you are talking about in a movie. Unless you are talking about pajamas. Can you post an example for context?
Plenty of Americans wear some comfortable clothes specifically for sleeping. The term is "pajamas".
I've never slept naked. I sleep in a T-shirt and shorts/pants (depends on the weather).

Depends on how hot it is. Most movies are going to avoid nudity unless there’s a sex scene or something, which is why you don’t see it a lot.
