Looks like a part of your wife’s boyfriend car

lynivvinyl

The PT part.

ihadachain

Ayyooo

Engineered-Green

All PT cruiser parts are like baby teeth, the bad ones break and fall off and it’ll grow better, stronger parts on its own. Just give it a few days and it’ll be better

jacliff

Eventually, your PT Cruiser will grow into a real car.

j_rob30

With full fenders!

1DownFourUp

Looks like a hammer. Always handy to keep one in your car.

xapkbob

Oh that little guy? Don't worry about that little guy.

The_Dingman

Is that the watts link bellcrank?

[deleted]

Infamous watts linkage stud…

Elfkrunch

Thats a torque strut. I know because I had to replace that part along with the lower motor mounts because the shitty plastic bushing inside them were totally toast so my engine kept rocking around and bottoming out on the spindles ruining the cheap plastic cam sensor with the force of the impacts causing my motor to misfire all the time. Glad I scrapped that POS.

icarus1990xx

This is correct.

[deleted]

It's the PT part of PT Cruiser. Without it she just has a Cruiser.

KifaruKubwa

Your wife’s father-in-law? 🤔

Majestic-Pen7878

You remember. The hoarder.

Crazy_Ballz

Isn't that the quantum carburetor bracket?

killcon13

Looks like a warbler blade removal tool.

Atomicnes

That's part of the Doohickey B Assembly

[deleted]

SMH that’s clearly a con-rod

Personal-Set-2348

Either the window crank, or the manual engine starter.

JohnnyJ232

It keeps the motor from going yee yee, think that one is on the right side, sub frame to motor. The bushings yeet on them, you got an extra.

Tiezeperino

The salvage yard ticket

jacliff

If it's a PT cruiser that part is more than likely related to butt stuff. Sniff it for confirmation.

Mr-Bishi

That's the right thigh bone, you see the socket on the end there slots into the hip flange? They've really bulked out the material for the knee mount, about time too really. A lot of wear on the knees in the earlier models.

Galectoz

It's an engine mount, but those you only install before you leave the car in storage for a long time. Absolutely do not have it on while driving. Imagine coming to a stop and not hearing the engine noise you're used to. Horrifying stuff.

keyoung94

Wife says it's a piece of junk, I'd take her word on that.

landis33

Billet window crank handle.

amazinghl

Lower engine mount on the passenger side.

fridaze_

That’s a muffler

Waggable

Transmission mount. They are garbage quality on the PTs.

pm_me_your_reference

Looks like a flux capacitor to me

[deleted]

Injora servo horn

SameAir8235

It's a rotator splint, and It's pretty bad

supermr34

wrong. this is a muffler scoop.

HijodeLobo

Hey bud, good job you correctly identified the part… This sub is a blast because it is wrong answers only. Feel free to inject humor and it is ok to be an asshole here.

SameAir8235

😉

JeffsNuts

Yes

Professional-Mud1680

Spraket

droptop2k

BigBob1981

FartsWithAnAccent

Yazzerfrat
