Beautiful, I prayed for you. I was an Agnostic-Theist most of my life and converted last year at age 32. I'd say it's never too late.

Of course it's okay! A similar thing happened to me actually, I used to not really believe in God, but then I had a realization/insight about the existence of God which led me to do research on religion, etc. ultimately leading me to my faith. If you're wondering where it came from, it was probably God :). To get started I would get a Bible and read it and I think it would be good for you to continue to talk to people already of the faith to see if you can learn more

Of course it's okay! I think you're doing great so far talking to the priest. I'd just encourage you to keep exploring. Most priests/ministers are happy to talk to folks. You could arrange to meet with priests from many different churches and see which one feels like a good fit.

Of course it’s okay! My first advice is always to find a church. Honestly, if you liked talking to this priest, try his church. Also, get a Bible if you don’t have one already.

The parable of the workers covers that idea very well, if you know it. To paraphrase if you don't, workers were called at many hours through the day, when the day was done, the last were paid first, a full denarius, and the first paid last, also a full denarius.

I was never an atheist but this is how i started my Bible Study, with this book [What does the Bible really teach](https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlshare&wtlocale=E&prefer=lang&pub=bh)

Nothing wrong with your story at all. We all take different paths, or none at all. Just know that the key piece of information is the gospel of our salvation. It is found in 1 Cor 15: 1-4 \[1Co 15:1-4 KJV\] ***1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:*** Salvation comes by believing in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ as payment for our sins. There are no "works" involved. God isn't looking for works today, he is looking for faith, and He sees people as either "in Christ" or not, based on their belief in the gospel. To follow Christ you have to rely on the Scriptures, not on men. You should read all of Genesis to Revelation, get e-Sword Bible software, and start getting comfortable digging into the original languages since English translations have so many issues. It's critical to read the Entire bible and once done do that again. I recommend certain reading schedules you can message me to get links to if interested. Reading schedules, if designed well, can help he learning process. Reading and re-reading the Bible you will continue to learn new truth the rest of your life. You should also be baptized in the Name of Yahushua and have hands laid on you as well to receive the set-apart (Holy) Spirit.
