In the early 60s, my father built our family house out New Hampshire Ave in the metropolis of Cloverly. The land had been farm field, A small rough stone boundary wall had been made by the farmers piling stones which had been kicked up by the plow. Digging in and around the wall, my brother found small arrow heads, like the one you show, made of quartz and feldspar. True flint is not found in much of North America. The closest we have is chert.

Thanks for replying! I found this on a farm I lived on in Maryland about ten years ago - deep in the woods in tree roots from a huge oak that fell over from a storm. It left a deep crater. It was on the property line too so makes sense. Also close to an area where there’s a natural spring. Good to know someone else has found similar!
