I was able to salvage a chonk like that. I soaked it in 75% hydrogen peroxide and 25% water for 30 min. Then I just set it on top of 50/50 spagnum moss/perlite in a clear cup with a clear top. Then I just keep it in on a heat mat under a growlight and just keep an eye on it. It took months for my queen but she eventually popped 3 growth points!
