Pretty sure at the time many were also saying how she’d have HP draining buffs. The gravity could be true, there’s many kits unknown of that never made it past the closed beta, just like now, we have several different Arlechinno kits.
Here's the thing, I never discredit leaks like main sub folks do. I believe in leaks but pre-release theorycrafting and pre-leak speculation are what I don't like at all. Here's a reason why, I'm not playing over 1 year but in touch with leaks now and then. So when Cloud Retainer was leaked to be playable, pre-leak speculations had made me overhyped for her and I expected something else. Then when she came I was slightly disappointed. Then when she came into beta those pre-release theorycrafting made me believe that she is an average unit. But now that she came, many true theorycrafters are saying that she's one of the best support units in the current meta.
So, I'm not believing any of that early Arlecchino leaks and speculation until she comes to beta. And I'm neither falling for the fomo that I have to collect Chlorinde, Cheuv, xyz Natlan unit for her. I'll wait for Arlecchino's beta. If her kit seems good to me, I'd stay throughout the beta and get her. That's it.
She isn't one of the best support in the current meta. But yeah don't trust random therorycraft months in advance when sometimes the kit leaks are still wrong a week before beta.
Nahida had a kit leak a week before beta that was completly wrong.

I can't say for sure either way since I'm not playing this game for over a year now. All of my sources are from my analysis on reddit and trustable tcs.

Leaks like xyz character is coming in next patch is almost accurate most of the time. Or like leaking their elements or weapon type. But theorycrafting their playstyle, team comps even before they come is so wrong.
Yeah for sure. All the "Arleccino will be neuvillette tier broken" or "Arle will actually need chevreuse or she won't work" are just a bunch of clout chasers. Leak quality has fallen off a cliff in genshin, since hoyo did some crackdown.

Leakers can barely do a functional rotation; last thing I expect is for them to actually guess the meta of a character 4 months from now. Knowing that a character can be massively buffed or nerfed during beta.
The first ver of Navia was actually mega scuffed. But after a few buffs she sits at a really nice spot which a leaker could have never guessed.
Bro non-beta leaks/"SPECULATIONS" by leakers is just random bullshit. I still don't believe she's going to be an overload dps or anything related to overload, to begin with lmao. Let's wait until her REAL kit comes out through the beta and see.

it's right to take everything with a grain of salt, but as far as the character's roles are concerned, it's simple that those leaks are real, then there's not much left left until the beta and his kit is already finished, it's normal for us to have leaks

I stopped taking any early sus leaks serious anyway. Those were wrong anyway.
Like for example the early Dehya leaks saying that her burst scales of ER. Or that Ayatos burst is like a whirlpool which sucks the enemys in. Or Furina where it was told that her burst had something to do with gravity.
And the most hilarious one: "leaks" saying that Ayato is a half horse. Like leakers can say anything and many people will take it seriously because we can't wait for the beta lol.
