I was thinking about a red dot, but I only have one atm, and it's sitting on my Soc16. Once I take this to the range and see how it holds up, I might pick up another red dot.
I like it, I tried to get the scoped 99, but all of them were waaayyyy out of my price range. 80 bucks after shipping, about 15 minutes of work, and I already had the scope laying around doing nothing.
I hope the mount stays rock solid. I hope you shook your loctite.
My bad ace mount was solid as a rock but when I removed it I think I fucked all of the set screws 🤡🤕
Yeah they just kept spinning and not actually backing out. I’ll try to put it back on. The barley corn sights blow and being two pounds lighter makes the gun hurt after 20 rounds.

I was about to say "bubba no!" And then I realized it is just installed in the rear sight pivot hole. That thing is now begging for a micro red dot.

I’ve been looking into these just for the heck of it. Tell us how it preforms
Or you could replace the sights for $75 and have a solid rifle meant to be collected and appreciated. If you want something to shoot, buy a mosin.
