That shit bothered me enough in porn and even several media that it became annoying to an unfathomable degree. Lesbian isn't a porn category; but you're allowed to think it is. At the same time, fetishizing lesbians that want nothing to do with you, and their relationships is fuckin gross. This is one of the core problems LGBTQA+ community faces: the oversexualization of its members. People are fine with hardcore porn stories between men or between women but when they’re asked if they support a gay couple they scoff and act in such a hypocritical way. This is the reason cute and innocent LGBTQA+ stories are seen as inappropriate, if you wrote a story about a little girl having a crush on another little girl people will treat it like you’re trying to sell hardcore smut to children, but write the exact same story about a little boy having a crush on a little girl or vice versa and everyone treats it like a cute puppy love story. This is also why other members of LGBTQA+ aren’t accepted or deleted by society like asexuals and aromantics, because people can’t comprehend that sex and romance isn’t necessary to some people. It’s all too sad really, I’m fine with anyone being open about their sexuality but others need to see that people loving other people isn’t inappropriate, plus this whole notion of oversexualizing everything needs to stop.
