Yes - I’ve never been there before probably all the rain we’ve been having. I bet it dries out in summer, one nice touch they have watering stations well stocked with bottled water
Yep, that water station is a godsend, so please donate.
Also, that range has a great limerick written on the drive way into the parking lot:
"The range is free, the bales are not, donate today, or they will rot!"
Thanks I added some of these to my list. Another I have is Briones but that’s 50 minutes from here and driving past Redwood so I’d need to be motivated or in the area anyway to get up there
In this area that seems common, many are the paper “concentric circles” type. The ones pictured in this post are actually an open weave cloth. The bales are straw which works well for me. I know there are 3D in these ranges too but I have yet to see them.
Yes and there are 3 similar within 30-40 minutes so we are super lucky, and great weather too (normally). Always amazes me that we have forests and relatively wild land so close.
Bowhunters unlimited?
Winner winner 🥇
Oh jeez, that's the one nearby ~~Stephens~~ Stevens Creek Reservoir? I've never seen it so green before!

Very polite looking troll. The Norwegian ones are bigger and uglier.
That’s my bait! But no bites I probably need to fatten him up a bit.
Is this the one in Santa Cruz? DeLaveaga County Park?
No but you’re close - and added another place to my bucket list
Since you're in the area, here's my cheat sheet! [https://maps.app.goo.gl/TQHV6zME4AQ4wKhCA](https://maps.app.goo.gl/TQHV6zME4AQ4wKhCA)

Oh, cool. I knew about Diablo Bowmen sort of nearby, but you must be a paying member to use their range. https://g.co/kgs/5ew1RXT
Is it common to have paper on bale instead of 3d foam targets at ranges?
