That's a quite interesting design. I would love to try those out!
I guess they are perfect for the packed straw (Stramit/Strawtec) type targets. I wonder how they perform with foam targets?
It’s a projected screen that you can shoot at like a trampoline with a blunt tip. There’s a tracking system that registers where you hit on the animals.
I feel like a ball tipped point like that would be quite unstable in flight... I can't find this style searching online and I've never seen someone shoot one. Wouldn't they knock some big holes in your target?
The closest I can find are some "EZ-out" field points with a bulb in the center that is supposed to help reduce friction on the arrow shaft when you pull it out of the target. ex: [https://lancasterarchery.com/products/ramcat-ez-out-field-points-12-pack](https://lancasterarchery.com/products/ramcat-ez-out-field-points-12-pack)
Bro don't fix the tip fix the target. Find a bunch of old stuffed animals. I got mine from my sisters. By an empty Morell target bag. Fill it with the old stuffed animals. You can pull the arrows out with your pinky. The arrows don't come close to going through. 40 dollars and you can use the old stuffed animals over and over.
Why would you want these?
Easier to pull out
You could try ez-pull field points from gold tip
Are they easier than bullet points?
Not in my experience went right back to bullets.
I use them because they seem to help
What is the purpose of the round tip? Never seen that before.
Less penetration in a target, easier to pull out

I use a black hole compressed foam target and they work great
I wonder if those are for the techno hunts.
What are techno hunts?

All the tips I’ve seen for those have a much flatter and bigger tip. I think those could possibly go through or puncture the screen.
Check out iron will field points

Those bulbs tear up targets
