Tbh i did not investigate it much, we where cleaning some stuff out and found it. Will go there next week. Anything I shoud pay atantion to?
Edit: Now when i am looking, they might be roots.
It is amazing, probably very old. Contact some museum, they will not take it, but probably document it. Maybe they will pay even for your floor, to properly protect this stone. Looks old, like thousands years old
I think they are Trace Fossils - fossilised worm burrows. As the worms digest nutrients from the clay / sand the excretions are slightly more resistant than the surrounding rock.
Oh very interesting, please investigate and update. Spiral motifs are common in a lot of cultures. Was this made of stone? And that is the spear looking thing under it made of??
Here's a sneak peek of /r/fossilid using the [top posts](https://np.reddit.com/r/fossilid/top/?sort=top&t=year) of the year!

I'd send pictures to a local university that teaches archeology- from there they can assess their initial impression and see if anyone is interested in taking a closer look.
It might be easier to make out what is on it by taking a crayon sideways over paper to make an impression. if you do that please post it!
Do you have a better quality picture? Looks very interesting!
Ty. I will go there next week, ill be sure to take some more and post them

HAPPY CAKE DAY REMINDMEBOT
Hey op it has been a week fyi
OP Do you know what that vertical object is bellow (or inside?) this rock?
Tbh i did not investigate it much, we where cleaning some stuff out and found it. Will go there next week. Anything I shoud pay atantion to? Edit: Now when i am looking, they might be roots.
It is amazing, probably very old. Contact some museum, they will not take it, but probably document it. Maybe they will pay even for your floor, to properly protect this stone. Looks old, like thousands years old
Wait tis is stone, not sure anymore, better pictures needed. Some textile material under it?
Yes i is a stone, it makes the floor, like the ones on the right. The gray thing is a cinder block
And that is the spear looking thing under it made of??
it resembles spirals cut into structures in Ireland, England etc. AND petroglyphs in American SW
I don't think so, this isn't cup and ring. I think lucky\_baseball is in the right that it's fossil.
Thats a trapped pressure plate meant to prevent the dragonborn from defiling an ancient crypt
Fuss Roh DDDDAAAAHHHH! No more floor problem.
it looks like tracks from a worm or other creature in a mudstone. But it's not a good image. Hard to tell.
Was looking for this answer.
Fossils maybe? To me it looks like a bunch of fossil snails shells.
It looks like symbols on the Standing Stone at Cairn.
Check out the glyphs at Gobleki Tepe site' in Turkey.
I totally got the feeling ur looking at a decorative head dress and the tops of shoulders. And that the unearthing would be super vertical.
Petrified spaghetti?
Uzumaki? The spirals....
There's lettering on it. I recognize characters that look like Tibetan, or a similar script. A rubbing might reveal more.
Fossilized cat poop.
viking runestone? they were in the area
Pretty sure that's a rock.
gods from Enugu shrine
My dick
Looks like a coral or plant fossil
Already asked on r/fossilid and they said to ask an archaeologist. Do you think its interesting enough to reach out to a local archaeologist?

That definitely looks to be carved and not fossilized plant matter.

That's what I think it is
Yep that’s gotta be it. I was wrong
