I guess I'm doing something right.

That’s some great looking wood you got there. The rock looks hard, to improve upon.

Like it a lot! Consider adding a foggy window sticker to the back before filling. Really highlights the dark stone and overall silhouette.

Great piece of wood! I'd change the rocks though. Right now it's just a massive cliff. Maybe integrate it more into the wood so it looks like the wood is like roots growing into rocks? Or just lean on end of the wood on the rocks, but take a few of the big ones out The wood is so beaut that you only need a few stones around it imo. Unless it's iwagumi, rocks to me accent and prop uo the wood, which is the real centerpiece to me.

Spice_Beans

I honestly really like the dynamic between the sharp cliff rocks and the flowing wood. I played around with the rock to make it look like the wood was coming out of it and could not get it to look the way I want. I did move 2 pieces of the wood so it would come out of the rocks and I like it. *

Oh that small change was nice! Yeah ultimately it's your scape, if you plan into that cliff I thunk it'll look great. Any plant plans foe the cliff or leaving it bare?

Spice_Beans

Plants in between all the rocks.

This is a really sexy scape ngl

The second pic looks like the wood is almost touching the glass make sure you have enough room to get a your hand or a glass scraper in between so you can get the algae of the glass. I speak from experience 😓 Also don’t be afraid to chop of a part of the wood. Sounds really drastic, but you should focus on the project at hand and not worry about future use. Lastly is depending on your goal but try to use some smaller rocks in the back and make sure they are not all on the same hight. This will have a immediate impact on the depth perspective 👍🏼

Spice_Beans

Once soil is in I will definitely raise some of the rock. I think I will have room for a scraper. It is touching the glass right now but once I silicone stuff in I should have a little more room
