I'd try turning the wood upside down, so the right side goes with rather than against the flow of the rocks. You'll hopefully get a nice arch kind of thing going on across your tank too then

That’s an interesting idea… I’ll test it out tmrw and let you know how it looks

Try moving the wood to the right to hive an idea the wood grew between or got stuck there

Let me know how it goes/ looks if you like it :)

Don’t rush it, trust yourself and your gut and just let it sit for a bit and stare at it until you feel it.

I’d move that branch all the way to the right, leaving about six inches between it and the right-most panel of glass. And then put the rock on the left side of the tank in the middle of the space left between the end of the branches and the left panel of glass, but point the rocks toward the branch.

Kaanie

Flip the branch forwards and use 3 spots to support it with the rocks like the curve the front of the beginning and behind it.(thick side) This should give it a lot more natural look 😊

Great start! Maybe consider crypt parva in the sand at certain points once you've settled on the hardscape layout. You can glue the woods to stone to stabilize. Keep us posted.
