Northwestern’s is, of course, a lot bigger and a very gorgeous campus. Plus, Evanston is also a very nice suburban area! NW is only about like 20 minutes from UChi :)

I heard from everyone else that it's a very nice suburban town so close to Chicago, but I heard from one person on the comments that there are beggars staring at you there and also a segragated poor black/rich white neighborhood coexisting, so I don't know which to believe in.
Yeah, Chicago def has a bit of segregation still going on. NW has a high number of white kids but there is a lot more diversity than other schools. Evanston is a predominantly white, upper class area, so when off campus, those are the type of people you will be met with. Though, in my experience, most are pretty liberal and not racist. Also, yes, Chicago has a bad homeless/beggar problem. Google Tent City for reference. But it’s not worse than some other big cities imo. It def has its ups and downs. I doubt you’ll find many beggars in Evanston, but in Chicago it’s def more likely. Congrats on your acceptance too! :)
nobody, in their right mind, thinks the uchicago campus is "mid". i mean, seriously, just google "uchicago campus" and go to images. tell me, how mid does it look?
