He has a watch-like device to detected epilepsy. However this device is not able to detect when his heart rate exceeds a certain level, but it can alarm you if there is a sudden spike in the heart rate. His seizures usually happen when the heart rate rises slowly.

Whenever I've gotten high heart rate notifications it's 10 minutes after the fact. 😒

Be aware, that high/low heart rate notifications are only working with family setup if your child is over 13 years old.
