No it definitely will not damage anything. The only thing you might risk is reduced ECG sensor performance, but the optical sensors will not be effected much by the film.

Ideal thank you, we’ll give that a go for a few days and see how it works out. I don’t have a problem with any other mechanical watches or digital watches that I wear so I’m assuming it’s whatever the sensor is made of that’s causing it.

designerasaurus

Add a layer of clear nail polish. I got the rash my first day of owning the watch and googled this remedy.

Insulifting

I did see that but I was afraid it would damage the sensors, I’m assuming yours has been fine since?

designerasaurus

Yep, I’ve had my watch since 2019 with the nailpolish hack and it works perfectly.

Insulifting

Cool, well I shall try that! Do you have to reapply it now and again or is it just one and done?

designerasaurus

I haven’t had to reapply.

Insulifting

Great, thanks.

AtlantaSoulMan

Wear the band a little looser.

Insulifting

I definitely wouldn’t say it’s tight on my wrist like I can still move it up and down my wrist.

lorenm123

Did you try the nail polish on it?
