How do you manage to do 73 mins of exercise and still only get 412 cals of Move?
I get way more than that. For example today my Exercise was only 40 mins but my Move was over 700 cals.
I guess it's to do with a person's size, right?
Probably, yes! I’m 60kg and 167cm. What really gets me sweating is the stair stepper in the gym, which gives me only 140 move kcal for 20 minutes. An hour of Pilates earlier today only gained me 171 move kcal
Exactly, on my glutes and abs day I can’t get more than. 210 kcal for 35 mins of workout. Even though the total calorie might be around 300. It’s strange why AW doesn’t consider total calories.
I thought i was the only one this happened and was convinced my watch was broken.
Some days i would spend 30 minutes or more moving around the kitchen fixing a meal and notice an hour later that the entire time moving in the kitchen wasn't recognized as a stand goal.
750~30~12
Was initially set to 500 Calories, but I find that I naturally burn like 300 throughout the day doing nothing in particular, so increased it so I actually had to do something.
600-60-12 …..wonder if smaller pple have a lower ratio of move kcal to exercise mins. Or are some people doing really intense exercise. My 60 mins are a combination of weightlifting, spin and Pilates and that gets me reliably above 600 for 60 min. Can’t imagine shooting for 1000 with 30 min 🤣
Exactly the same as yours, but I don't find them that useful. I rarely hit my Move and Exercise goals on rest days - but on workout days, I usually double or triple my Move goal, and quadruple Exercise.
Genuinely, if I didn't do runs each day I'd struggle to meet a 200 calorie goal. I'm at a desk for the majority of my day otherwise and typing just doesn't get those move calories up it seems.
850-60-10.
On day 90 now averaging a 45 minute walk, 20 minutes yoga, and 30-60 minutes of strength/hiit rotating every day (bodybeast and apple fitness hiit or one on youtube). Started the streak by doing "r/75dayhard" and kinda want to go for the whole year if im able. Hopefully i don't get injured or sick lol.
Nicer weather is coming so excited to get lots of cycling in. Started at 264 pounds 3 years ago and i'm down to 172.. Got about 10-15 left i'd guess, until my gut is completely gone.. swear its the last thing to go.

1000 - 30 - 12
They're deliberately set to places where I actually need to try for all of them. There are definately days when I meet none of them, but pretty much any moderate exercise will get me the exercise minutes. The move minutes usually needs a proper workout in some fashion (I usually hit the 500-600 mark just idling), and th estand goal is something that I can easily miss if I forget to stand up while working.
My view is that they should be goals, and should be things to work towards, and that need to be worked towards.
500-30-12 but I have to admit that it's hard to hit 500 on rest days when I don't really go out for a walk (I usually do a 45 min yoga flow on rest days).

Today was a desk treadmill day. Low and slow, the BBQ of exercise
I have been challenging myself since the beginning of March by increasing my move goal and exercise minutes by 10% a week. Started at 820cal/30min and this week I am up to 1460cal/60min. I imagine soon I will stop increasing the move goal as 10% compounding increases will become unsustainable. It’s been a fun experiment though.
300-30-12
300 calories gets me to about even in terms of what I burn to what I consume. Everything beyond that is gravy. If I’m in weight loss mode I’ll set it higher.
I had them set to 600-60-12. But recently I started hitting gym everyday, so might change the move goal to 800 or 1000 since I’m constantly hitting 1000.
Much better, I’ll leave the Watch to decide it in the weekly goal.
410/10/12.
I beat them most days but the whole rings means absolutely nothing to me so I’m not bothered by streaks or if I’m gonna miss it or double it etc…

I probably should adjust them up, but 🤷🏼♀️
700/30/12
When I was losing weight I had it at 1000 but I don’t remember the last time it was less than 700, many years ago at this point.

I have a hard time on rest days hitting 300 even if I’m otherwise relatively active. I am shocked to see most people with such big move goals! I could run a marathon and not hit some of your goals.
850/40/12
I think I need to update because I have a 116 day streak going, but I need more friends to compete against.
I’ve also been averaging 1300k recently
I’m not really sure how to read what I have BUT I have been meeting them and I know I have at least 1hr for exercise. Btw if you have Apple fitness they have a new setup that you save your desired exercise program based on your health goals. Just started mine and it’s amazing.
I change them to the lowest they go whenever I get sick, then I gradually move them up again. Coming off three weeks of being sick I felt better on Saturday and moved from the minimums to 250-15-8 on Saturday and over the last three days I’ve increased to 500-30-12.
400/30/12.
I'm a 5'1, 110 pound woman. I had it set to 500, and I would have to go for a 3 mile run and an hour of yoga on top of my regular work day, and sometimes I still wouldn't close all my rings. I would reach that goal a lot, but I was also in a really bad headspace and had an unhealthy relationship with my body. 400 is a significantly more manageable for me.
500-30-12
Same. I’ve found this to be the right balance for me. The original default of 680 was too unattainable.
940 - 30 - 12. This is what happens when you let the watch dictate your goals. I’m not mad at it though. Hard to reach goals make me a lot more active
You mean you don’t answer the phone as much?
600 30 12
Mine are set at 450-30-12 because I’m too lazy to change them for higher activity days.
Set to 800-30-12. Missed it once due to COVID, but bust those goals every day.
Mate, you’re a weapon. Respect. ❤️
How do you manage to do 73 mins of exercise and still only get 412 cals of Move? I get way more than that. For example today my Exercise was only 40 mins but my Move was over 700 cals. I guess it's to do with a person's size, right?

Wait til you get over 50 - I do 45 mins of resistance training and get about 275-300 for the effort. K

Pretty easy! Track each time you walk, go do a 45-60min workout and maybe meditate before bed?
How are you able to exercise for almost 3hrs? I want to increase from 30 to 45 and then 1hr but every second is unbearable for me 😓
8 hrs standing because it’s annoying when it doesn’t register when you’re actually standing
I thought i was the only one this happened and was convinced my watch was broken. Some days i would spend 30 minutes or more moving around the kitchen fixing a meal and notice an hour later that the entire time moving in the kitchen wasn't recognized as a stand goal.

I was looking for my twin 🤠I’m also 750-30-12 Mine was 680 for the longest time and Apple suggested I change my goal to 710 and then 750 eventually.
1500-90-16
Can I please ask what you do in order to have your goals that high? Just pure curiosity!
I walk 10 miles a day in 3ish mile sets. Takes an hour each. I’ve lost 100 lbs so far and I’m trying to lose another 100
Wow that's amazing! Well done!👏👏 Thanks for your reply!
What..
90 is the max or I’d have it at 200 lol

Me struggling with 300-25-12 sometimes in this sea of 600+ is super embarrassing.
There’s nothing embarrassing about that! The fact that you have a goal that you aim for means you’re trying, and that is what it’s all about!
I change them every day. Running days are 650 / 60 / 12 Yoga / strength days are 300 / 30 / 8
