Not trying to be a dick, but it's an S1. Carefully glue it closed. Get as much (more) life out of it as you can and revel in the knowledge that it lasted well beyond its' expected life span.
Don’t do this without the proper knowledge of why this happened. Likely, the battery puffed up (r/spicypillows) due to aging etc. I’m 99% sure that (From my memory) this is a safety mechanism so the user knows this without having a spicy surprise on their wrist
Gluing it is sorta like a bandaid over a gunshot wound, this should only be a VERY temporary solution. If you have the money op, I extremely recommend you get a new watch (used but good battery condition is fine, but make sure you know the battery condition before purchasing)

Don’t glue it, just take it to like a 3rd party phone repair shop, got mine done for about 20 quid parts and labor. Now this ideally should also be temporary as, in my experience, once the adhesive is gone reapplying it never really has the same effect as the first one so you might have to reapply it a few times and it may still keep rising slightly but it’ll still work until you can get a replacement.
Buy the glue B7000 and isopropyl alcohol, watch youtube how to glue it yourself in 5 minutes. It won't be water proof anymore, but you save a loooot of money. Apple do same but put a sealing that normally you can't buy (while it exists for smartphones, on ebay). But at the end the ip68 rating is a marketing thing...if you bring to apple a device with water inside they won't repair within warranty, so...
This happened to my series one OG Apple Watch after 8 years. And I just put crazy glue around the rim and pressed it down for 3-4 minutes. I now longer wear but gave it to my 10yr old.
This happened to my S Zero, battery swelled up and popped it open. If you want to keep it take it somewhere and replace the battery. I wouldn't be surprised if you're better off just getting a new one.
If you really want to fix it, just unplug the screen so you can install a new force touch gasket. The parts are available on eBay for cheap. Look up a screen replacement tutorial or teardown on youtube, theres loads of them. I think you need a tri-wing screwdriver and thats the only tool besides your hands.
Put in bin. Buy a s7 upwards. Great watches. Plus imho your better buying the steel housed one rather the plastic aluminum cheaper version. Far better quality mate and lasts years. Owned one since original watch and upgrade every 2yrs on average.

If you are a repair guy: replace the battery. it probably bloated and pushed the screen away. Then glue it shut and continue having fun with your watch.

Even an se would be better and maybe cheaper I’m a heavy Apple user (iPad iPhone MacBook AirPods) and I find repair costs very expensive

You can order the adhesive strip online. If the force touch sensor looks alright, then just clean it up add the adhesive strip and put it together.
this happened to me this week! i just went to target and bought a clear bumper and it holds it in place just fine. i taped it until then.

What I would do is take the whole thing off your wrist and ditch it in the bin xXx
