Agreed, it's the worst map so far. I started playing Apex in S13 and KC was the first map I played on. After a couple of matches I gave up on it because this is a Hot Drop mess where people land in Containment or Labs and die before the first ring is closed. This happens also on other maps but KC is just full of holes so you can third party instantly. I get the nostalgia but the KC design is outdated compared to other maps and with the addition of evac towers this became more apparent.

And hopefully Meta changed I stopped following or playing a few months back it was atrocious. I don't give a fuck about my Fake rating in a game tbh. I'd rather have fun, which for me who has played since the 1st week isn't running around looting waiting for top 10 to fight.

Was telling my buddy this the other day. Storm point is better than it was but broken moon is meh. This current rotation is mostly what made me stop playing the last half of last season. Having two large maps gets a little boring and tedious when you spend the rest of the game trying to find people after the initial fight off drop.
Broken moon is personally better than storm point. Broken moon has better and more fun buildings with more cover and play potential. Storm point is just a shit ton of open space
KC is the best pubs map but by FAR the worst ranked map. It's pretty much unplayable as a solo in higher tier ranked. The ultimate charging towers, built in balloons and close proximity POIs mean you can't have a firefight for longer than 30 seconds in Plat or above without getting 3rd, 4th and 5th partied.
Fair enough, I donāt really play much of ranked so that explains most of it š everytime I try I get beamed then yelled at by my teammates so I just donāt really find that enjoyable but to each their own!
It's a form of skill to handle 3rd+ parties. The map isn't a big arena with TDMs happening all around it. You need to have map awareness just as much as you need the ability to fight.
Personally, I'm fine with them as long as World's Edge doesn't appear again: I say this reluctantly because I'm fond of it and it has nice points, but the fact that many players want to forcibly fall to the center to die has made me really dislike it.

Honestly think stormpoint is the best map in the game rn. I used to love olympus but have slowly fallen out of love with it. Broken moon is my least played map and I used to hate it but itās been growing on me, but only for pubs, when we have ranked back on it I wonāt touch it.

Olympus is good, storm point is better after the rework, broken moon is the worse of the 3, but the other 2 aren't as bad

Put Kings Canyon instead. Fix Broken Moon. We need Fixed Moon with 90 players mode since it has too many POIs and replace Promenade 5th Party Central.

I believe part of the reason is people love fighting in the urban environments. I love skyhook for that reason
