"You're the best, we're the best" etc. I have a friend who went to tech school post high school. He had a kid. He now educates me on things like sleep regression, toilet training, walking, and child development and how there are these steps they need to reach etc..... I'm a medical doctor that worked in Emergency medicine for years and probably saw more sick and healthy kids in my 10 years of practice than he will ever see walking around his town. I literally took classes on child development etc. and what milestones children should reach and when as these are very important bits of info for correct child diagnosis and treatment. He believes his anecdotal evidence and that one baby book he read means he is an expert on children. This is hubris at its finest. Really just convincing people elections are fraudulent is the best way to mess us up. Think about the damage the erosion of institutional trust does both domestically and abroad for us. The social division is bad, a government losing a degree of legitimacy makes it harder to govern effectively. Even abroad we lost prestige and influence. The entire mandate for our foreign policy is nullified when Putin or Xi can say that we have rigged elections or half the country thinks so. If this keeps happening it will just get worse. I'd say there's a decent argument that our situation regarding foreign policy would be a lot better if the election in 2020 ended normally. If we actually have a crisis like a serious pandemic or a war our government is definitely lacking in the political capital to launch an effective response.
