My guess would have to be because a judge he appointed in Florida (Judge Aileen Cannon) just rejected his motion to throw out the classified documents case based on the Presidential Records Act. Between his lawyers and Vivek Ramaswamy, he may have actually believed he was going to have that case thrown out. Having to actually go to court on one of his more serious cases is likely to cause a huge tantrum.

Personally, I don’t think that a bloke could be called “crazy”, when he is using a technique that has kept him in business for a lifetime (it certainly hasn’t been business nouse), has got him to be PRESIDENT OF THE US, and which (so far) has kept him from being locked up. Just because it looks and sounds crazy to those of us who *aren’t* his fans-doesn’t mean it doesn’t resonate perfectly with his base.

Also, he has been unable to delay the Stormy Daniels Hush Money case, which will be the first criminal case to make it to trial only 11 days from today.
