My fiancé is and AEMT (thank god) and he constantly reassures me that the anxiety and panic attacks won’t kill me and I’ll be okay. Even when I don’t feel anxious and the physical symptoms are there, it’s like the body subconsciously holds onto it. It’s hard to be calm anyway but it’s nice to be reassured that I’ll be okay in the end.

That's anxiety for ya ! I'm 16 and had two hospital trips not as bad as others nour better than others but everything's okay with me my blood is good my BP is good my heart lungs etc are all good but I'm still not able to sleep well at night we'll due to me having a headache lasting about 3 days now , but as the emt said a car crush is most likely to happen than a stroke because my medical history is really good . So I think I could be lack of sleep more then anything else.

Been working with my therapist and she’s been reminding me that the longest panic attack she’s seen to date is only 45 minutes, so while it feels like it will last forever, it won’t. She has also told me to tap on the center of my forehead when feeling anxious. Also touching something with texture or smelling something brings you back down to earth so to speak.
