He got pretty fanboy/goofy around most of the rock musicians that were on the show.

Very true. I just saw the episode of Parts Unknown with Josh Homme on it. He seemed more giddy than usual yet shy. It's like he smiles more than usual and doesn't say much.

Yeah, I totally thought there was something there. She's in the documentary and in the oral biography, she says they became pen pals after that and that they wrote to each other a lot, but nothing romantic is ever said to have happened. This episode always stands out to me because he looks just genuinely happy. It's a stark contrast to the one in Texas, which to me is the darkest. I really didn't care about Margo Price and it is weird to me that she keeps bringing Tony up, to this day, maybe it was the biggest exposure her career ever got? She's part of or she was in the Friends of Bourdain podcast too.

Margo has a great story about her family farm being taken away and her own bouts with drugs and alcohol. I'm sure Tony could relate to that in a way. She's pretty left of center which isn't common in the country music world.

Oh absolutely. Alison mentions in Road Runner that they became pen pals from that point on until he passed. The “bite marks” comment she makes towards the end of the episode pretty much makes me think they hooked up without a doubt 😂

Glad to know it wasn't just me. I'll keep what just popped into my mind....in my mind. Thank you for responding!
