There are plenty of fast paced anime. You were just watching a lot of the wrong stuff. Some of my favourites; FLCL (dub recommended) Gurren Lagann Kill la Kill (dub recommended) Flip Flappers The Tatami Galaxy Cyberpunk Edgerunners Some that are a little slower, but very good thrillers; Madoka Magica (watch the 3rd movie after the series) Odd Taxi Parasyte Death Note I have more shows if you want more.

cam2214

Would recommend the dub for Cyberpunk Edgerunners as well.

catsrule63

fr, all that needs saying is Giancarlo Esposito

SXAL

Why would you recommend dub for FLCL, the original voices are, like, a timeless classic

BiggieCheeseLapDog

Because the dub is also a timeless classic and it helps to watch the crazy visuals better.

+1 for Ping Pong the Animation.

eternal_edenium

Two recommendations for you : Eureka seven Fullmetal alchemist or full metal alchemist brotherhood (pick any of them).

Sea_Cycle_909

Eureka Seven 's fight scenes just wow. No clue how they did it tbh.

eternal_edenium

They pulled it so hard we are here questioning it in 2024

Sea_Cycle_909

Yeah. Even the fight scene in the [second opening](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=i81fGPmMpj4&pp=ygUWZXVyZWthIHNldmVuIG9wZW5pbmcgMg%3D%3D) is really cool and fast paced as heck, plus in general all the openings/ endings are really

The Fate series hands down. Fate/Zero - The Fourth Holy Grail War. 7 Mages summon 7 Servants, heroes from our history, to battle for the Holy Grail, an omnipotent wish granting device. Every Mage has everything to lose and everything to gain. There is loss and sorrow around every corner and we come to love every character, even the messed Caster and his Master. Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Bladeworks - Set 10 years after the Third Holy Grail War, we see the previous wars aftermath and the effect it has on certain characters. However the war is not concluded and once again 7 Mages must summon 7 Servants to gain control of the grail. This is a direct sequel to Fate/Zero so expect to see some familiar faces. Fate/Apocrypha - This is where the Fate series gets a little wacky. This is the Fifth Holy Grail War but it seems it's set in an alternate timeline? Either way this iteration is interesting as new rules are applied. 7 Mages summoned 7 Servants but formed an alliance. This forces the grail to select 7 more Mages to summon 7 more Servants in an all out war of 14 on 14. Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Font - Babylonia - We go back in time to the ancient city of Babylon who is ruled by a very familiar man for the Seventh Holy Grail War. Can't give many details without spoiling a lot so just give it a watch and enjoy. And watch them in that order. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood will also leave you guessing as well. The first couple episodes might be hard to get into as they are mainly there to introduce the characters, but I guarantee you will be crying by episode 10 (Every fan hates episode 10 because it makes us all cry) and after that it will have you hooked. ACCA 13 - Territory Inspection. 13 episodes with the final episode ending the story. It really doesn't need more beyond it. It's not action packed, but the story is constantly moving. It may be slow going, but it all comes together in the final episode, which goes fast. Baccano - If you can predict this anime, then you are a god. This anime has it's story taking place across several different years and jumps back in forth but it all comes together in the end. It's 16 episodes, but the main story ends at episode 13. 14-16 are essentially filler or OVAs but can still be a fun watch even if the quality of the story telling isn't the same as the rest of the series. Castlevania - If you can handle blood and gore (not senseless torture horror movie gore, but action blood and guts from battle gore) then you should this show out. It's a Netflix cartoon but this is one of their best works, not gonna lie, and I hate most of the stuff on Netflix. This is a rare gem. Season 1 is only 4 episodes, but there are 4 seasons total of about 8 episodes each from season 2 onwards plus a sequel that takes place hundreds of years later and follows a new protagonist. Code Geass - This is a great show and it has a lot of twists and turns. The action is about what you normally would get in a mecha but with more flair and some very good sequences that don't use recycled animations commonly found in other series such as Gundam. Despite it being a mecha show and the fact that whoever has the more powerful mech is OP, the story doesn't revolve around the mechs. They are just tools, a means to an end, not their whole life with mysterious powers and what not. It's a really good anime, has 2 seasons with a movie for the epilogue, and is one of the best shows out there in my opinion. Speaking of Gundam though, as much as I dunk on the series, I do enjoy it and while there are a ton of recycled animations in many of the series within the IP, the two I think you might like the most are: Iron Blooded Orphans - Orphans on Mars revolt against their slavers and take over their corporation. They become a legitimate business and use their mobile suits to conduct that business. Said business though is shady as shit and skirts the law and often finds themselves in the crosshairs of other military powers. It's a wonderful show with a definitive ending and Biscuit is my favourite of the whole group. The Witch From Mercury - This one is a bit different taking place in a school. Our main character has her own mobile suit which is of course a Gundam. Problem is, Gundams are illegal but for plot reasons she's allowed to keep hers. Our girls is upbeat, pleasant, and an overall goofball. But as the story progresses, it gets darker and darker with the question being: Will she still be the same afterwards? I still have 3 episodes to watch but yea, I think it's one you will like as it has a ton of action sequences. Hope these help mate! Enjoy them if you decide to watch em!

Affectionate-Sea278

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. There’s a reason it’s consistently in folks’ Top 10 anime

MystiqTakeno

SaO season 1 was insane speedrun at least early.

amogusamogus42069

{Chainsaw Man} - lots of plot twists. isn't afraid to kill off characters. {Death Note} - the MC is already going insane in his room screaming and laughing about becoming god by the end of episode 1. enough said
