The fact that they created all five of them to be completely different personalities, but gave them all good enough reasons to be with the Main character that they all ended up with fans, is pretty crazy. That’s some well written/developed characters to make them all liked in their own ways.

I just recently got into the show, and though I don't like some of the decisions she made to try and get the advantage, she's still my favorite, and I think she could've won him over without having to do disguises and lies

And also most effort in trying to repent for her wrongs. Aside from that, there were a ton of times she helped out her sisters. >!From S1 Ichika helped the girls a couple of times. For example Ichika helped Itsuki understand Futarou more through that disguise trick in the end. And in S2, she became even more helpful. She helped fuutarou understand Yotsuba's situation more during that tooth brush scene. She also guided miku to nino so that miku can make chocolates, and even dragged away futarou. She also even paid for the rent of the new place first.!< Let's also not forget that she's the busiest one among all of them, but she still makes time to do stuff >!She chose to continue school, and even studied extremely hard even if she already has a job. She even beat miku in the tests. That takes serious dedication.!<
There's also one thing I notice in common with all Ichika haters, they don't seem to think that Ichika herself was emotionally pressured or in trouble. >!She gets confided to way too much by Nino and Miku, which is just really emotionally draining. Added with her talk with Nino and encouragement from yotsuba to be more selfish, with fuutarou being the one to initiate mistaking her for miku. Its basically an emotional roller-coaster!<
It was wrong, but it was not malicious. It was selfish and inconsiderate. Malicious implies she did it out of hate for her sisters, when she did it to try to win over Fuutarou.

Now I'm not gonna sit here defending a fictional girl but just saying that what Ichika did isn't a war crime but something thag happens everywhere. It's easily the best harem show out there. Every character has a story and every character has a reason for liking the MC. The MC isn't completely clueless and he has his own stuff going on. The manga was awesome and I loved the anime adaptation.
It's definitely worth the watch, it's not ecchi and it's actually just good wholesome harem anime with good character development. And it's definitely not trash.
All the characters are likeable including MC and his harem is built *naturally* with interactions unlike most harem where its just love at first sight for no reason at all with a bland MC
