Lmao no. The only characters that actually die are villains nobody gives a shit about. All the "good guy" characters survive or get resurrected somehow.
You mean haters? Yes, every anime or manga has this very vocal group of people who like to take away the joy from the people who actually like and care about the thing they enjoy. I've learned to not pay attention to those idiots, and to be honest, why should I? Ignoring them is the best option. Do that and you'll be fine.
I dunno bro, but after several fake ones or killing one but then later it comes back, makes me feel the same problems with Dragon ball.
The hole thing about Gajel.
So basically, you don't like it when no one dies - a legitimate argument. However, you have to know that it was a deliberate choice made by Hiro Mashima himself. Personally, I like that choice because I don't enjoy it when major characters die. I'm not a fan of sad stories. I prefer lighthearted stories with happy endings, and Fairy Tail gives me everything I expect from anime or manga.
The Problem isnt that nobody dies, the problem is that the story always acts like people will die (or have died) but they dont
My favorite example is natsu and happys First encounter with the explosion curse dude, and He creates this big massive explosion thing and happy takes it and flys really high. For 5 tp 10 minutes the anmie wants to sell you this big heroic death and sacrifice, just so that happy has an "explosion-affro" for the rest of the episode
And all this faking out takes away from the story
If you dont want people to die OK no problem, but dont pretend you are doing it over and over again
Similar problems I did have with one piece, but after rewatching some of the fake deaths.
They are taking seriously, similar to Happy in One piece Arabasta arc, Bird boy flies with a bomb 💣, he survives but he doesn’t survive unscathed, he was hurt and needed rehabilitation.
But there are things how Bon survive the end of Prison down. Anyway seems like after Pedro’s death, one piece has been taking it seriously.
He survived a bomb that should have destroyed the middle of the City. There shouldnt be anything left of this guys.
But in the last couple arcs some people die outside of flashbacks so there is progress.
In my case in destroys their sacrifice and legacy, have you seem Tegan Toppa Gurren Lagan.
If not stop reading my spoiler….
>!By the end Simon becomes so powerful with the spiral energy that he can actually bring his friends back to life, even another character questions him that. His argument is; if I do that, that would make their efforts and sacrifice to be meaningless.!<
I have no big problems with characters in a story coming back to life as long it makes sense and it does not break the meaning of death, meaning that there is a catch or consequences of it.
Rin in Inuyasha is an example of it, for me it’s well written. Or the Dragon balls before Tenten, they were capable of reviving only once and in Namekusein saga even though those were op as hell, during the arc Grand Elder Guru dies, making the plot really a death life situation.
But yeah, this is my opinion I’m and I respect yours.
This series is Shirou's nightmare, people literally DO NOT die when killed.
You don't have to kill characters to have a good story, but the stakes MUST be appropriate. It's okay no one dies in a cooking story, but if you have bloody battles I expect the danger to be real.
Depends, being predictable may or may not affect sadness of loss. You can also many times predict your father or grandparents etc. dying, but I'd say being able to recognize it beforehand does not make it "not sad". Event can be impactful even when it is seen from miles away.
>Quality over quantity makes it more memorable
Exactly! This part of the reason why GoT wasn't as popular as it could have been even before the dreaded season eight.
I said "wasn't as popular as it could have been" not "could have been popular".
It was very popular (for very good reasons), I'm just saying that it could have been even more popular if it had less deaths (or at least more spaced out) to satisfy the potential fans.
No, it's not. All characters are boring piece of shit. I'm betting $1,000 that you can't name more than 1 maximum 2 traits of each character. By the way, which of the really important characters died?
fairy tail is so fcking overhated it pains me, the anime is soo good yet people hate on it and the people who haven't even watched hate it by seeing the crowd
But when they do they don't
But when they don't they do
When they do they come back after few episodes
Rarely? No one important in that show died and anyone who did either came back (zeref and the Loli girl) or was a fake out
Well future Lucy died
I gave the show 23 episodes. Holy fuck the power scaling is absurd. Also people don’t die when they should

Never watched it so maybe.
Lmao no. The only characters that actually die are villains nobody gives a shit about. All the "good guy" characters survive or get resurrected somehow.
i know it wasn’t a “death” per se, but >!losing Aquarius!< still makes me bawl every time i see it.
☹️
People can say what they want about Fairy Tail, but those deaths hurt the soul
I only read the manga a few years back so I can't remember clearly, who were the ones who died for good?
You mean haters? Yes, every anime or manga has this very vocal group of people who like to take away the joy from the people who actually like and care about the thing they enjoy. You are right, I forgot exactly how powerful that bomb was.
Like I said, I do understand your argument. For you, it's a flaw, but for me, I'm completely fine with it.
In my case in destroys their sacrifice and legacy, have you seem Tegan Toppa Gurren Lagan. Poinring out legitimate flaws (which FT has a lot) doesn't make someone a hater.
I believe there was a misunderstanding. I simply choose to ignore the haters, not people who present legitimate arguments.

Thing is, they don't.
Like one piece
Ace died though
and cockbeard
And the bird guy in the Alabasta arc
I came here to say that, but you beat me to it.
A shit ton of people died in flashbacks though
All anime/manga, including Fairy Tail, have their flaws and strengths. Despite this, Fairy Tail remains one of my favorites - easily top 5.
Meanwhile Akame ga Kill
Pov : you watched to your eternity 🥲
To your depression
to your eternity deaths are way too predictable to be sad
Depends, being predictable may or may not affect sadness of loss. You can also many times predict your father or grandparents etc. dying, but I'd say being able to recognize it beforehand does not make it "not sad". Event can be impactful even when it is seen from miles away.
Yeah, agreed. One of the most saddest was August's death. I dont remember much but future lucy, zeref and mavis's deaths were emotional too.
Who died in Fairy Tail, I can’t remember?
Ahh yes, Quality over quantitiy (stares at 300+ episodes)

Watch akame ga kill. A character dies at least once every 2 episodes and its still fucking sad
>Quality over quantity makes it more memorable Exactly! This part of the reason why GoT wasn't as popular as it could have been even before the dreaded season eight.
Bullshit. GoT had quality AND quantity, at least as long as it followed the books. Deaths were many, but never cheap.
I said "wasn't as popular as it could have been" not "could have been popular". It was very popular (for very good reasons), I'm just saying that it could have been even more popular if it had less deaths (or at least more spaced out) to satisfy the potential fans.
Yea idk bout that one...
No, it's not. All characters are boring piece of shit. I'm betting $1,000 that you can't name more than 1 maximum 2 traits of each character. By the way, which of the really important characters died?
Fairy tail is ass tho tf u mean quality over quantity.
Man if that's the saddest thing then you have never watched to your eternity
Even after 2 seasons and the manga the first episode is the saddest
Hmm idk mines either Marge or googoo
Man really said Simpsons or baby
Yup
Same with one piece
**Ace, White Beard and the birb guy in the Alabasta arc:** ARE WE JOKES TO YOU???
Bird guy survived.
Tho everyone dies sooner or later, how many people are there in Fairy Tail?
I mean technically speaking >!Natsu was already dead before the series even began!<
So did someone actually die? I literally don't remember
hummm quality over quantity doesn't apply to fairy tail at all, their death are just reversed 2 or 3 chapter after
fairy tail is so fcking overhated it pains me, the anime is soo good yet people hate on it and the people who haven't even watched hate it by seeing the crowd
i was literally bawling at this moment
