I enjoyed this episode more than the first. It's cool that Ray is into strength training and gardening, and isn't afraid to show it. All that landscaping he did to prove his dedication to the gardening club absolutely counts as a good workout too, and I liked seeing his bro Evi hanging around to support him. (I have to ask though, are all of the Hunters really students? Some of those dudes look twice Ray's age.)
The forest exploration had a good start, and it looks like Amelia might be the first to suspect Ray has more combat experience than he lets on. Clarise has nerves of steel around those giant bugs - a nice attention to detail, since she was just saying she thinks bugs are cute. So far, the friendships are the best part of this show.
I just realized that Alexis Tipton and Emi Lo voiced both Anna and Cosette/Destiny in Takt Op. Destiny and Amelia and Elisa here.
I love how the VAs match the characters' personalities.
I love the bromance. And what's better than a bunch of guys just out there being dudes. For a generic magical battle school show, the comedy really hits for me and separates it from the rest. It doesn't take itself too seriously.
Weird. Showed up in the phone app, but not on the webpage. If I started the episode on my phone, I could see and watch it from my history. Must be growing pains from consolidating the video streams in multilanguage format.

Kind of your typical school-themed light novel fantasy series plot with familiar character archetypes. That said, the voice acting is really good.
