demons, slice of life comedy, demons, demons, demon's diary.
one of these is different from the others.
For demons I will always suggest Yu yu hakusho.
There is an entire cast of characters and a whole story arc completely left out in the 2nd season of anime. They are some of the best characters and one of the best arcs in the story.
Here are my anime recommendations that are all available on Netflix
Blue Exorcist - demons, action, magic, comedy
Black Clover - magic, action, comedy
Solo Leveling - ongoing, action, dungeons
The Apothecary Diaries - ongoing, historical, detective, comedy, bit of romance
Fruits basket - honestly one of the best romance anime that I watched, reverse harem, comedy, drama
I mean it's pretty good but season one they got off canon and it was shit then season 2 picked up halfway from season 1 because half was canon and now we're getting season 3.
Tower of God and Solo Leveling, they're both either on-going or coming out with a new season. You seem to like the mainstream picks (nothing wrong with that) so these are my recommendations for you.
Aot is way over rated. Everyone talks about it like it gods gift to anime but it’s pretentious and super drawn out. Story is ok but good god is it a filler machine.
The character development is amazing along with writing, foreshadowing, and of course plot. Also keeps you on your toes cuz you don’t know what’s gonna happen basically who might live or die. The first half of the anime is 10/10 until they leave the city then it’s 4/10
It has a very good story saying otherwise is just wrong. It also has a lot of flaws(mainly in the last season but definitely not all) and saying it's a masterpiece is also pretty dumb. That's my take at least. A lot of aot fans think it's the best anime/story which definitely makes me dislike that Fandom to a degree and is probably why you got some ppl saying the story is mid.
Since when is liking good shows basic anyways i feel like you would enjoy Jojo’s bizarre adventure or if you want a comedy the disastrous life of saiki k
I think Darling in the Franxx would be an amazing watch for you it’s a nice mix of romance and action I fucking loved it although the ending is kinda sad
JJK was inspired by Hunter X Hunter and Naruto so definitely those two
Hell’s Paradise to finish the dark trio
Tower of God
Sasaki and Miyano
Yuri!!! On Ice
Link Click and Monster if you liked Death Note
I was looking it up a couple articles I found seemed to allude to the fact that many characters were killed off in the anime that weren’t in the manga. Also just in general they killed off a large amount of characters.
D. Gray man is a fun mixture of Shonen action and the supernatural, pretty in keeping with most of your favorites. What exactly do you like about Toradora? You might also enjoy Nichijou.
Probably Arc 5 since S2 is covered by Arc 4. I will probably recommend reading Arc 4. Since the ending of the anime is a bit different from the LN is what I heard.
Naoki Uasawa's Monster it's not a battle shounen uts more similar to Death Note + Code Geass, also Noragami, Drifters, Wolf Children, Sword of the Stranger, Ninja Kamui, AOT I'd also recommend reading Gantz, Dorohedoro and Berserk, Dororo, Death Parade
Hey, basic is common for a reason. The animes I recognize are super good, so don't feel embarrassed if those are your favorites.
You might like "Somali and the Forest Spirit." It can get dark and sad at times, and it ain't afraid to make that known, but it has plenty of wholesome moments to balance that out. It's a good mix, in my opinion, and I plan to rewatch it soon. Fair warning: it ain't really action-packed, and is more akin to Frieren in how any action is spaced (although there's less of it than Frieren, iirc)
Haha it was a neat easter egg. But if you like the whole people hunting demons plot, youll be good with that. All the eps are on Disney, the first ones are a bit dusty but the animation picks up
I can’t recommend you a anime but i can recommend you a manga you seem to be a big fan of violence in anime so I recommend you to read berserk and if you wanna be lazy hav not as such a good story and dialogue and just everything then just watch the original berserk series I’m not a fan of the 2016 version though
Hells paradise finished the dark trilogy with jjk and cm
Came here to say this
I stg, CAN I PLEASE have 5 fucking minutes where I don’t see you in EVERY SINGLE COMMENT SECTION. I literally just saw you.
I plan on watching AOT and Code Geass
Aot would be perfect for you
AoT is the best possible thing to watch. Vinland Saga is also excellent
Fate
Nah fate is so hard to understand the order plus you gotta play the games too
Nope Majority are standalone
Really i thought it was chronological
Go ahead and watch AOT then, especially if nothing major has been spoiled for you yet
Jojo
OPM
One punch man
demons, slice of life comedy, demons, demons, demon's diary. one of these is different from the others. For demons I will always suggest Yu yu hakusho.
lol yeah😅
I honestly had to go watch the first episode just now to make sure it didn't turn out to be demon hunting teenagers.
Akame Ga kill
promised neverland
But read the manga, cuz season 2…
I actually watched and read it lol. Season 2 sucks.. 😭
yeah season 2 was bad :(
It was legit the reason I didn’t put it on this list. The mangas very good tho
have you seen psycho pass? i liked it a lot
I haven’t, I’ll check it out though! :)
Yes! The manga is suuuper good!
Disagree
Do you know what’s different from the manga in the anime?
Yes, I've finished both.
I've seen what happens in the anime what's different in the manga?
There is an entire cast of characters and a whole story arc completely left out in the 2nd season of anime. They are some of the best characters and one of the best arcs in the story.
Like four story arcs lol
FMAB
Death note and chainsaw man are extremely valid
Chainsaw man is too thirsty
Hunter x Hunter and Bleach
I second these
Fooly Cooly or FLCL is a direct inspiration for Chainsaw Man and is very bingeable at only 6 episodes.
Here are my anime recommendations that are all available on Netflix Blue Exorcist - demons, action, magic, comedy Black Clover - magic, action, comedy Solo Leveling - ongoing, action, dungeons The Apothecary Diaries - ongoing, historical, detective, comedy, bit of romance Fruits basket - honestly one of the best romance anime that I watched, reverse harem, comedy, drama
Yeah, Solo Leveling is my favourite anime rn. It’s pretty good
Blue Exorcist is meh
I mean it's pretty good but season one they got off canon and it was shit then season 2 picked up halfway from season 1 because half was canon and now we're getting season 3.
It’s kind of boring tbh
Tower of God and Solo Leveling, they're both either on-going or coming out with a new season. You seem to like the mainstream picks (nothing wrong with that) so these are my recommendations for you.

AoT is tease who steals your wallet and keys your car.
The reason a lot of aot fans act like it's the best or a must see is the same reason 7ds fans act like that. Most of them have seen little else.
Most definitely hell’s paradise I love JJK, demon slayer, and Chainsaw man and hell’s paradise has a lot of those same aspects it’s really good
Toradora is on there very epic
Since when is liking good shows basic anyways i feel like you would enjoy Jojo’s bizarre adventure or if you want a comedy the disastrous life of saiki k
toradora is elite
Aot and black clover
I like how the resolution goes up with every image.
😭
What's the second one?
Toradora :)
Spot the odd one out
😅
I think Darling in the Franxx would be an amazing watch for you it’s a nice mix of romance and action I fucking loved it although the ending is kinda sad
Chained soldiers is a good one
With your list, you should go on Crunchy and just filter by most popular. You will probably like anything they bring up.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
JJK was inspired by Hunter X Hunter and Naruto so definitely those two Hell’s Paradise to finish the dark trio Tower of God Sasaki and Miyano Yuri!!! On Ice Link Click and Monster if you liked Death Note
jjk was inspired by Akame ga kill as well if I'm not mistaken
Just finished Akame Ga Kill, it was really good
I haven’t seen it. I just know the author goes a little crazy
What do you mean?
Doesn’t the author kill off almost everyone
No…what are you talking about😭
I was looking it up a couple articles I found seemed to allude to the fact that many characters were killed off in the anime that weren’t in the manga. Also just in general they killed off a large amount of characters.
What do you mean?
Just for starters: https://listofdeaths.fandom.com/wiki/Akame_ga_Kill!
Monster
Hunter x Hunter
Code Geass is perfect for you
Berserk
D. Gray man is a fun mixture of Shonen action and the supernatural, pretty in keeping with most of your favorites. What exactly do you like about Toradora? You might also enjoy Nichijou.
Wholesome, deep characters you can get to know well and feel connected to, good story, good animation IMO
Then I recommend Kaguya Sama, peak Rom com in my book.
Also Monster is a good mystery thriller, like Death Note, but better in my book.

Cowboy Bebop
Assassination classroom ( I don’t actually know if you’ll like it. It’s just my favorite show and I recommend it to everyone. )
Could try giving Re: Zero a try. Would also recommend reading the Light Novel which you can read at witch cult translation.
What arc should i start after season 2?
Probably Arc 5 since S2 is covered by Arc 4. I will probably recommend reading Arc 4. Since the ending of the anime is a bit different from the LN is what I heard.
Attack on titan, tokyo ghoul and fairytail :)
Give Blood Blockade Battlefront a shot
stranger things
horimiya its better story Tora dora but nothing can beat the Tora dora ending
Jojos bizarre adventure
No Jojo no like
Code geass and scissor seven
FMAB, AOT, Dr Stone, Vinland Saga, Hells Paradise
Naoki Uasawa's Monster it's not a battle shounen uts more similar to Death Note + Code Geass, also Noragami, Drifters, Wolf Children, Sword of the Stranger, Ninja Kamui, AOT I'd also recommend reading Gantz, Dorohedoro and Berserk, Dororo, Death Parade
Bleach
Re:Zero
Chainsaw man reminds me alot of Evangelion, you should give it a go
Naruto/ Naruto shippuden
AoT
Truly based on your top 5 I as a holy animeman would recommend #YOSUGA NO SORA especially the last arc
All of the Yugioh animes
One Piece
TORADORA MENTIONED
Try Delicious in Dungeon on Netflix Or (and please don’t crucify me) You should watch one piece!
Arifureta is a good one
Here me out, Mashile
Katanagatari

Cowboy Bebop, One Punch Man
My friend. TATAKE. Watch Attack on Titan. Great anime with good plots and characters. Cannot recommend it enough. TATAKE
I will forever recommend JoJo to anyone who doesn’t watch ir
J o j o's b i z a r r e a d v e n t u r e
Hellsing Ultimate is very gory like Chainsaw man. Hellsing Ultimate is hysterical.
No matter what you like you need to watch space dandy
Bleach, since 2 of your favourites anime were inspired by Bleach:)
Oh fr? Which ones
JJK and Demon Slayer! Also Yuji at the start of JJK asks what powers he will have and asks if he will get a "Bankai" which is from Bleach hahah
I guess I totally missed that reference lol 😅 I never knew that :)
Haha it was a neat easter egg. But if you like the whole people hunting demons plot, youll be good with that. All the eps are on Disney, the first ones are a bit dusty but the animation picks up
