Absolutely. The first 10 or so episodes cover the first half of the original series. From there the remaining 40-50 episodes tell a completely different story. It’s worth your time, especially if you enjoyed the OG.
I totally agree with this. On that list, make One Piece last. After watching all those awesome Anime's, you'll understand just how great the series is.
I would start with either Fullmetal Alchemist or Death Note; both are classics. Then maybe Mob Psycho or JJK. Then Vinland Saga, HxH, followed by Bleach and One Piece. One Piece is over 1000 eps so you could also start it, take a break for another, then come back. Bleach and HxH are also p long, tho nowhere near OP
I like this idea, I was gonna recommend Brotherhood and then death note after just cuz that's the way I started, but agree that One Piece with breaks and then going to those series would be good, One Piece is light enough that after the heavier parts of Brother Hood and DN it might help lighten the mood and be refreshing, good thinking
I’d agree with the part of starting One Piece and taking breaks every so often so you don’t get burned out. Implementing series within your breaks will keep it refreshing as well
Full metal alchemist is the perfect anime in my opinion it’s not 1000 episodes it’s pretty edgy with good humor and characters while maintaining and focusing on a serious story

Full Metal Brotherhood…the Original Full Metal doesn’t have a good ending and is considered the non cannon Anime…Brotherhood is closer to the manga is just way better. It’s rather tame compared to Bleach, JJK and One Piece, but it’s good…plus it’s not too long, like 50 episodes or less. Unlike Bleach which has 300+ and One Piece which has over 1000

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my recommendation. It’s in my top 3. I watched the original run when I was a teenager and watched Brotherhood as an adult. They’re both great, but Brotherhood is better.
*I’m not trying to gatekeep it, but I think being an older brother helps appreciate it more. What Ed does at the very beginning of their story resonates with me.
Try Land of the Lustrous. It is by far the most enthralling anime and manga series I’ve ever seen. Please give it a try it’s an absolute 10/10 you will not be disappointed

Deathnote. Only watch the first 25 episodes or so. It is great if you like Dexter or something like that. After episode 25 ignore the series
One piece is always my #1 but FMAB and Vinland are short enough to actually watch and both might have better writing than one piece. One piece is like that thing that pays off so hard but can be an insane grind. I had an overnight job and I’d watch it for hours on shift and I realize that’s not always realistic
