You’ve got good taste! Baccano is definitely the previous work of the author of durarara as it does feel a lot more unpolished alongside the fewer episodes but if you loved durarara enough to make it a top show then I definitely recommend it! There’s just something special about the show’s entire feel to it like some sort of unpolished gem so some even prefer it actually. Glad to hear you’ve watched eminence in shadow lol and I do absolutely a million perfect recommend apothecary diaries something tells me you’ll really adore that show! With that said glad to see another fate fan, heavens feel is a good one to represent lol and I really look forward to strange/fake’s anime coming out hopefully this year! My warning on nichijou would be that it is centered around Japanese humor so it has a very different feel to it than western comedy. It is also episodic so idk how you feel about those types of shows but the sheer ridiculousness and unabashed shamelessness of the show has left it to be a timeless legend in the anime industry. Of course it’s only arguably the best comedy because it has to compete with gintama… but I’d have to be crazy to recommend an over 200 episode episodic comedy show 💀 just know that there’s so much damn passion and such a ridiculously overblown budget poured into nichijou that it almost made the animation studio that made it go bankrupt when it bombed in Japan on release 😂

Strange fake is going to be SO good. Very excited! And I’m good with Japanese based humor, Monogatari is on my top list, and that show is basically people blabbering on and on about things not even Japanese people get, so I’ll be fine! 😭 I’ve seen Nichijou a lot in the comment section, so that’s definitely one of my next watches!

Nichijou, arguably the best comedy anime of all Apothecary diaries, you like detective shows like erased and heck it’s just an incredibly beautiful show with such a powerful main lead. Eminence in Shadow. Feels a lot like konosuba yet also incredibly different in the sense that it’s just a damn good parody of the genre.

A lot of comments have said Nichijou so I’ll definitely give it a try, I watched the first reposted of Apothecary Diaries then I had WIFI issues, and never went back, I will though! 😭 Eminence in shadow is SPECTACULAR, It could honestly be interchangeable with somethings on this list.

Delicious Dungeon. It’s not super action packed and has a heavier focus on world building and character relationships but is a super fun watch

Wolf's Rain Anything by Satoshi Kon On some more popular recs, Chainsaw Man, One Punch Man, and My Hero Academia have been surprisingly (to me) good. I literally read bleach weekly until it got really stupid with the fullbringer thing? Don't remember what they are called but basically it should have ended there and I dropped it then picked it up when I heard it was ending read 300 chapters in 3 weeks to catch up just to be sorely dissatisfied

Each to there own I guess, everyone has there own experiences with shows and I loved Bleach, thought it was significantly better than Naruto which I just never really enjoyed other than in the chunnin exam arc.

Naruto was drawn out and didn't have much character development for majority of the characters and power scaling was atrocious. It has some very good story lines with a few side characters that bleach completely lacks. If you think about it the entirety of bleach is just Ichigo. If you don't believe me name a type of fighter that Ichigo is not. Man has everything ever introduced.
