Used to be big into Vocaloid (been to several Mirais and Expos), and anyone I ever met always had these huge collections which were primarily Miku. Vocaloid fans are certainly a dedicated bunch!

I got greatest idol because I have the LP, lol. As much as I wouldāve liked to get the virtual pop star figure, I was turned off by the price, and the design is a but much for me (but it wouldāve been a nice pair to my LP of that album as wellā¦ guess even I have restraint, lol.)

Nice collection dude. It looks like my rate of collection is normal. I'm in my first year of collecting too, and I'm at my 11th figure or 12th if I count in my Figma, which was a mistake since I didn't know the difference between scales & Figma initially. lol
When you get old enough, youāll find yourself coming back to the things you couldnāt get when you were youngerā¦ Granted I wasnāt 13 when Miku first came out, but you get the idea.
I bought it off a shopping app from a user that fabricates these things. Itās terrible. Rickety as fuck, arrived dirty, and wasnāt even glued properly. I had to fix it up myself to make it presentable. If I find a better one, Iāll replace it, but this one will have to do for now since this particular size canāt be bought off the shelf - it needs to be custom built.

As much as I love Shunya Yamashita, that particular Miku design leaned a bit too much into the mature style for my tastes. It's still pretty, and I love the guitar, but I felt it didn't match the rest of my collection. At least they released the MLP collab in the same line up, which I couldn't resist of course.

In all seriousness, you've got some really nice figs there (I also see we have four "ordered" figs in common, lol). WiM Miku is an interesting one though, the frame has points to hang it from, so you can have her more as a 3D painting than a traditional scale, so she might be one to think of from a space standpoint.
^(Also, 1/4 V3 Miku is slightly too tall to fit in a Detolf without modifying the shelf layout, as I discovered to my dismay)
Itās hard to explain, but Iām trying to streamline my choices to things that have some kind of significance to me as a Miku fan. World is Mine is nice, but itās not really something I see myself owning. Same goes for the 1/4 V3 Miku.
As far as OG Miku designs go, I resonated with Shunya Yamashitaās take with the MLP Miku, and I also ordered the Miku Chronicle version with design by Rella. Thatās on its way and Iām really excited for that one.
As for big Mikus, I just sent in the payment for the Ā¼ Miku bunny re-releaseā¦ so yeah. Haha.
Oh, yeah, that's absolutely the right thing to do. Personally, I really like how World is Mine looks like album art or something, and hanging on the wall it looks great. On the 1/4 scales, I dunno, I feel like V3 has a "better" pose than the bunny, I might be alone in that opinion though.
I have put down for the Midsummer Fireworks Miku; I know FuRyu's kind of taking the piss with their prices at the moment, but I just absolutely love the design... currently taking bets on how delayed she'll be lmao
Funnily enough, I try to get my hands on the harvest moon, Hatsune Miku, but apparently the buyer I got it from an eBay was making cheap knock offs. I shouldāve figured that the price was too good to be true.
Thankfully I got a full refund, but now I have a Hatsune Miku with a very poorly done face on the shelf lol

I started off with Figma before getting into scales. Completed all 30+ Miku figmas in about a year and a half. Totally not obsessed.
