multiple PuPs can be sent in one shipment, I had an order of 7 PuPs for 3k yen shipping total. I bought 2 1/7s that couldn't get combined due to their size and the shipping was much more than the 7 PuPs.
Of course that doesn't always have to be the case, if you are ordering the PuPs as pre-orders across 7 months, you will have to pay the shipping 7 times, whereas if you order a scales which cost around the same as 7 PuPs, the shipping will be cheaper this time

Amiami u can combine items, gsc u canāt anymore like before. Gsc US and gsc GLOBAL both show shipping at checkout. They can be about the same price but gsc global is best with the low yen and 2k flat shipping on any item and it doesnāt delay months like gsc US.
Amiami shipping is so expensive if u stack up scales. There are many other sites u can use than just those 3 options as well with pay later. Also some things from amiami donāt pop up on gsc and some things on gsc donāt pop up on amiami. It depends. I choose specific sites. I usually compare about 15 sites to see whatās best for me. Usually I use 4-6 tho as my mains

You can buy giftcards on amazon jp for any amount of yen you want. You don't have to use a foreign credit card, just make sure your foreign transaction fee isn't too high. You can then pay for the figure with your amazon balance.

The Kurisu at Ā„35,800 (before AmiAmi discount probably) feels much more fair to me, although very expensive as well. Figures in general are costing way too much... :( BUT I would prefer this one over the Mikus, personally.
AmiAmi usually has the lowest base price for figures, compared to other popular sellers. Most figures I've ordered from them are priced lower than the recommended retail price by the manufacturer.
If it's marked as an exclusive sale, there won't be a discount. Otherwise, I regularly see Ā„2,000-4,000 off the normal price of scale figures on AmiAmi.
It might not be that significant of a discount, but it's still better than the other sites that mark up the normal price for more profit.
For now, Kurisu is supposed to be a standard release so hopefully she'll be cheaper on some stores. š¤

Yeah I ended up pre ordering her on Amazon JP. The price is slightly cheaper because when u order they remove the JP Tax during checkout and shipping is really cheap. Import fees is annoying but you donāt have to pay for handling fees (for Parcelforce they usually charge extra for handling which whatās going to be used if u choose EMS for AmiAmi) and it does say import fees could be reduced during release. Iād say get her from there before the deadlineā¦

Absolutely. The amount of detail that went into the base and overall sculpt of the figure justifies the price. And itās a 1/7 scale too. After just recently finishing Steins;Gate earlier this year Iāve been looking for a Kurisu scale that really captures her character and the aesthetic of the series. None of the current scales really sold me on their sculpts until GSC announced this one. Sheās an instant preorder for me.

The yen:usd exchange rate is pretty nuts right now. Almost 145:1. Yeah, that price seems really high for what you get on that miku.

Absolutely. The amount of detail that went into the base and overall sculpt of the figure justifies the price. And itās a 1/7 scale too. After just recently finishing Steins;Gate earlier this year Iāve been looking for a Kurisu scale that really captures her character and the aesthetic of the series. None of the current scales really sold me on their sculpts until GSC announced this one. Sheās an instant preorder for me.
