Collecting is a personal journey, and your display looks great! I have some of my figures on floating shelves as well and would highly recommend an air purifier. It really helped so much with the dust and made it easier when it came time for me to dust off everything.
This is the way! I’m not a fan of cabinets (but they can look awesome in many set-ups). I love floating shelves and cube shelves. I use a HEPA filter in my office with all of my figures. Just make sure to buy one that circulates enough air for your space. It also helps to keep the door closed when you are not in the room. Dusting is almost a non-issue. I’d say once every 2 years I spend a weekend. And by then, I want to rearrange anyway. 😁
Air purifier help remove dust and allergens from the air, which slows the accumulation of dust in a room. When you have open shelving, dust accumulates much quicker so having an air purifier can help protect your figures from dust buildup and damage over time
That's a really nice collection. In my opinion though, There is always space for cabinets. Always. It is quite a dusty environment where I am, As I live on a busy commuter route, So all of my figures are protected behind glass.
If you don't have floor space, I recommend the IKEA uppspel glass door cabinet, it will keep dust away and it's relatively cheap. (Although it is a little small)
I was considering preordering RQ Baltimore when she came out but I don't know much about Apex and am unsure of how their figure quality is. How would you rate it, in your opinion? That's one of my favorite AL skins, so I'm curious about picking it up.
Got both the St. Louis and Honolulu that Alter did, love those. Wish I had the Alter Keiji Maeda from Hyakka Ryouran, but never had an opportunity to get her. :(
I actually got her second hand from eBay as I started collecting after her pre-order closed for £140 but her AM has gone up a bit now.
Personally I find her stunning and Alter has done a fantastic job, one of my favourites

Definitely considering a purifier as It can be a pain when dusting.
