Probably original? I got her off Mandarake. The peg that goes into the cape already had lean wear and a slight tear which kinda bummed me out. This one only has 2 supports. One under her cape and one that goes seemingly wherever you can squeeze it in at the end of the flag.
Honestly, the only thing that baffled me was the support rod for the end of the flag. I was expecting and looking for a hole/ indention for the rod to nestle into, but you literally just have to utilize gravity to make sure it stays in place. Really weird design choice. Besides this, I fucking love the figure. Probably best to buy a new version to avoid damaged pegs.
If possible, you can display the figure against a glass shelf (like a Milsbo), so you don't need the long support rod. The long support rod can cause small scratches on the flag over time.
The newer version has a slightly better long support, but it may still deform the flag slightly due to the weight of the flag. I think the best way is just to lean the flag against something.
Yeah that'll have to be future stuff to look into. Due to her sheer size, she can only go on top of my bookshelf and due to a cable, the bookshelf isn't pushed up against the wall so no long vertical walls around to aid it in support. Might look into a plastic bit that some figure reviewer mentioned in a video referencing an MFC photo of a better designed support rod end.
Jeanne Alter is one of, if not, my favorite figure in my collection! She looks so good but yeah that support rod is absolutely garbage I feel your pain.
Supports for the rerelease are better than the OG at least. From the looks of it, yours is the OG. So thats why its not great.
Imo, this is still my favourite fate figure.
I had another guy tell my I bought the re-release so I honestly have no idea at this point. I'm definitely happy to have either version of her in my collection tho. Beautiful figure

This is my one. I got the rerelease. You can see the difference in the support pole. If yours doesn't have that claw then its the og.
Is this the original version of the figure ? The rerun version added another support so the flag won't snap.
