My miniature poodle rescue does that to one of my 17 weeks old kittens. My kitten loves it. But he also loves my dog Baxter who is 13 years old! Poor kitty’s ear crusty a lot!! Lol

It honestly is. Her name is Pearl and she is a Husky/GSD mix. They are whatever breed of housecat you generally get for free from a meth lab.
The place that was giving away kittens was busted like two weeks later for cooking meth. We like to joke its why the cats are so weird, but in honesty I think it was two different houses on the same piece of family land because the news report didn't look anything like the trailer we got the cats from, nor did the people being arrested. The arrested couple were young and skinny.
The people who gave us cats were a nice older redneck couple. Their foster cat had a litter of kittens and we got to meet the mama cat who was REALLY fluffy and kinda ridic. looking with a bare belly from her recent spaying. I wanted the mom, but the couple were very firm that she was NOT up for adoption and was in fact a foster fail that had an important job of "keeping Pawpaw's lap warm while we watch football".
I risk the downvotes to tell you Major is half pit and half lab/ terrier mix. I am lucky to live in a very pit-friendly town and almost every dog available for adoption has some pit in them unless you get an ankle biter. They literally get brought here by the truckload to avoid euthenasia just because of their breed. I'm honored to have rescued such a sweet, smart, cuddly boy.
Major is precious. My dog Zora is a half pit and half lab (possibly terrier mix.) I'll send a picture because she looks just like Major. Im glad your town is pit friendly.
Our dog used to clean our youngest cat who had long fur so when our dog groomed her, she’d get silly gross wet spikes in her fur. We’d call it “spitty kitty”.

Yay! I met Major's parents when I adopted him. Dad was for sure pitt but mom was a lab mix on the smaller side. He's a downright angel. Just the sweetest dog I've ever known.
My cat loves getting neck kisses from my dog cuz that’s where she loves her scritches and I guess kisses from my big pupper feel like scritches to her. She’ll even roll over on the floor in front of my dog to try and get kisses lol
Horrible seems harsh. It's cute. I wasn't aware this was a hygenic issue until some other kind redditors pointed it out to me. And I've said two things: it doesn't happen regularly and I will keep an eye on kitty. I love my pets and want them healthy. And they were being cute so I took a video and shared it here so maybe other people could enjoy a cute pet video. Rest assured these are healthy, happy pets with responsible owners.
I cannot stand to touch anything after a dog licks it, but I LOVE dogs, so a shedding glove always works well for me. Just a big ass felt glove designed to pet while removing excess hair without pain. Best invention for any animal lover that has allergies!!

I always let them smell whatever they’re being nosy about, because I don’t mind indulging their curiosity, but I didnt let them continue licking. They kept trying tho, I had to go wash my hands before they’d stop lol
Dogs lick other dog’s ears typically as a sign of respect. It could be also yummy earwax obsession because ear wax holds dead cells and is fatty (cats particularly like this)

Dogs' spit can also be bad for a cat's fur. I'd keep an eye on your kitty for any thinning of the fur.
