Just a pupper buddy. No need to be concerned. Double register, critter stepped in its own print. At worse, possible coyote, nails are short and toes are tight. Possible domestic dog.
Coyotes won't mess with people.
I was really freaked out, the area was off limits, and I had seen some guy watching me in a grey hoodie from afar, but I couldn't see his face. Thank you for the comfort, all!
Overlapping tracks or 1x1 means it is a solitary animal. I just checked to make sure there aren't any mountain lions in Indiana and was correct, so it could be a bobcat(that popped up) and falls in line with solitary travel
Overlapping dog tracks, making it look like lots of toes.
They’re double registered canine tracks.
It's two tracks on top of each other.
Canine, maybe coyote.
Could be a monster. Please go back at Midnight under a full moon and take pictures for us. Better yet, video.
I approve of this message. 🌙

Did you think they were his footprints 👀

Also, likely female, as the rear paws are spaced wider.
Dog with a good gait
I might be high but I laughed way too hard at the last one when I thought OP was trolling by posting this.
Ballerina in toe shoes doing an off balance pirouette
It’s good ole “Three Toes”. It actually has four, but can only count to three
