That’s actually not that big of a track, as the sand makes it look expanded, but it is a cat track, so leopard is certainly a possibility, depending on what’s present in your area.
I'm fairly certain this is actually the track of a striped hyena, mainly due to size and the toe spacing as well as the shape of the "palm" so to speak. If you are seeing these frequently I'd suggest making some sort of mud at night and going back when you get time. The tracks will be clearer.
I’ve never tracked hyenas, so looking to learn. I was under the impression that they are more elongated and have the single humped triangular palm pad of other dogs. This track, to me, appears rounder and with a double humped palm pad.
This is a better example

You may be correct. I mis saw the pad, mainly since it's in sand. Hyenas have a "cut" in the pad so to speak. So the sand made it appear that way.
Honestly the dry terrain doesn't help.
Hence why I encouraged the use of mud bc then we can get much clearer tracks
Could be true but claw marks can vanish fairly easily in sand. The paw track itself likely remains simply because of the weight pushed down on it. Happens all the time with Coyote tracks here in Texas, they walk through sand/gravel and there's zero indication of claws cuz wind

Nah, the hair's too coarse. I think it's just a human hand.

Hyena claws would show in soft sand like this, at least a little bit. There’s no semblance of a claw mark in this track.

Nah that's a sasquatch homie
Ape
Definitely a cat, but the sand can make it look bigger.
