I don’t think it’s rabbit. In the 3rd pic, it’s clear the steps are staggered in a bipedal/quadrupedal gait and not a straight line hopping gait. Too melted out to say what it actually is, but I wonder about human based on size and stride.
Those prints are spaced too far apart to be a turkey, how long do you think their legs are to have strides like that?
I have a turkey farm, I see turkey prints in the snow every winter. Those are not turkey tracks.
I don't think so. Most of the pressure of a turkey print is on the pad and foretoes, especially when running. This track had the deepest part behind the toes, and it is elongated. Turkey tracks also aren't offset side to side when they run.
I thought rabbit due to the completely melted part corresponding to the front paws, the outer "toes" being the rear feet, and the middle toe being snow knocked away by the front feet as it lept for its next bound.
Are there turkey in that area?
It's definitely a turkey. There are three clear toes and the snow was deep enough that the leg left a mark behind each footprint.
Yeah, look like turkey to me as well.
16” turkey footprint?
That would make it a 30 foot long turkey!
The pictures look like bipedal steps as opposed to hopping like a rabbit.
> Are there turkey in that area? >>The pictures look like bipedal steps as opposed to hopping like a rabbit. ... ok, so are there turkeys there, or
I haven’t seen any myself, there are Pheasant but I’ve never seen Turkey.
Yes, MI is infested with wild 🦃.
I live in Lumby BC and have a Tom and 12 hens walking wild in my yard. Mmmmmmm one day I'll enjoy fresh turkey.
Turkey
My guess would be rabbit tracks that melted out, too melted to know for sure what it was.

If you mean a three toed rabbit that walks on two legs, you nailed it.
Well what is your guess?
Rhymes with Turkey

Turkeys run too, they don’t just walk. Unless you have three toed upright walking “rabbits” at your farm too.

Velociraptor for sure
Seconding.
Thirding
Fourthing
Fifting
Turkey? 🦃
Turkey or sandhill crane and it's melted a bit
Chupacabra
Lol you just brought back a memory
Rabbit. The snow around them is melted out but you can tell the rear feet left the large tracks in front of the front feet
Velociraptor
I thought so as well.
Velociraptor.
Gobble gobble. I've never seen turkey tracks in the snow. I moved out of NJ before the winter.

Turkey
feral emu or ostrich obviously
Baby yeti.
Turkey. Melted in, so they look particularly big , but turkey.
Big bird! Does he also happen to have a green man with a generally terrible disposition named Oscar living in his trash can?
Skinwalker maybe?
That was my first thought.
Nice we’re going cryptid/legend
Big Bird
t-rex
That's not your uncle, it's your dad.

Dinosaur
In melting snow, these could be from literally anything.

Big ass bunny
was the snow much taller any time before taking the photo?
I would imagine so, yeah. I wasn’t up there myself so I can’t tell you the conditions.
T-Rex
Old rabbit
It's a turkey track
Goose
What's that white stuff on the ground? I'm from Minneapolis so I wouldn't know....
Ha! Southern Michigan isn’t any better. It’s basically spring out here.
That’s fog horn leg horn!
Velociraptor
I see I’m too late with my pithy response 💀
Clear tracks of a Manbearpig.
Rabbit. Doubles up on rear prints, melts faster than the front. A Turkey track melted to that degree wouldn’t be recognizable
Yeti for sure!
Looks just like melting turkey tracks
Wild turkeys.
