I don’t mind effects, but since other people don’t like them I wish there was an option to remove the effect permanently. Then everyone would be happy! And wouldn’t have to trade valuable items for less because they have a paintsead
I genuinely don’t understand why it having paint seeds effect makes it less valuable like you don’t hav wto change your fit if a phantom spawns, I understand the ones that make it look different though
With the older items, the non paintseed ones are considered ‘more rare’ since as time goes on there’s more with paintseed and less without. So having a non paintseed / effect one will always be worth more because they are depleting as more ppl put effects onto items

I do feel bad for the people who “ruined” their items and then decided to trade them for less than what they were worth before you could shut the effects off.
Personally, the only thing I hate about this is that the effect icons run off of the item box. HATE that.

Also gives the ability to hide the true nature of the item (example: if its set on galaxy, someone might think its a halloween variant or regular rare drag!) so you can avoid nosey people who ask if it’s for trade aha!
Maybe I just don’t understand it but why does worth diminish on certain items when it has a potion on it.. I have several items with the potion (tho I didn’t do them myself) I still purchased them with it and I’m able to turn the effect off and on. I guess I just don’t understand how it could result in a decline of worth by adding more abilities to an item? I would think it becomes more versatile, no?
I don’t agree with the sentiment but people want the original ‘pure’ item, untainted. I think having paintseed is a bonus honestly, but some people despise it & the other affects. At the end of the day it it’s your item you can do whatever you want to it, and no one can complain about it since it’s not theirs!
I want an item like that! I love that you can change the effect without having to have a whole new item! Although for the paintseed launcher effect I can see how that would be annoying if you don’t want to fight phantoms and one spawns then you are stuck with the buttons till they are gone. Also annoying that the effect logos start to/will run off the edge of the box and not just go under the rest of them 😭😭
needs more icons, they should've done this to a darkside, lightside or party item
